You can fuck right off. How dare you tell me how to feel! I am an adult you half witted moron. I work for a company that does a lot of trade in the EU and has it's headquarters there. There is a real chance you have screwed up my future. I would not blame my company one bit for moving all of our production to Poland or Germany.

Yeah we've got great history and lots to be proud of how does leaving the EU change that! It's not going to let us go back in time and cherry pick the greatest moments of the last 50 years and let us all relive only the good bits.

I am ashamed right now of the selfish decision we've made (due to "proud" people like you) I am going to have to live with it. baby boomer by any chance, older? You've fucked my generation and the younger ones still to come over to many times.

It's not a socialist power trip. we get/ got lots of benefits and helped do a lot of good. Sure it could have been less wasteful and better. Any chance of us being part of making that better is gone. You'd rather run away from problems clearly you coward. Do you even have any European friends? I do and they are almost as upset and frustrated as I am.

Have faith? Fuck off mate I'd rather have a plan and be part of something greater then the sum of it's parts. Thanks to people like you were out of the EU and everything that is shit about England at the moment isn't going to get fixed. the EU has been made a scapegoat for some really not important problems and you've fucked us because of it.

Don't you go on about forefathers you stupid backward looking ass. I'm a bad person? You know fuck all about me, piss off.

They do know that Farage isn't an MP, yeah?

And that he's not a Tory and therefore can't become Prime Minister in October, right?

Our mass media is diseased. They tried all day and night to make out the economy was crashing weh it wasn't, and now they're going buttmad over Farage with non-stories yet again.

Lashing out is not a sign of journalism, let alone against a man who was successfully done himself out of a job in achieving his life's goal.

http://www.politico.eu/article/how-david-cameron-lost-brexit-eu-referendum-prime-minister-campaign-remain-boris-craig-oliver-jim-messina-obama/

>LONDON — Jeremy Corbyn never budged. Not even Barack Obama could have convinced the Labour leader to help David Cameron make the case against Brexit.
>Less than a month before the historic EU referendum, the team assembled by Cameron to keep Britain in the European Union was worried about wavering Labour voters and frustrated by the opposition leader’s lukewarm support. Remain campaign operatives floated a plan to convince Corbyn to make a public gesture of cross-party unity by appearing in public with the prime minister. Polling showed this would be the “number one” play to reach Labour voters.
>Senior staff from the campaign “begged” Corbyn to do a rally with the prime minister, according to a senior source who was close to the Remain campaign. Corbyn wanted nothing to do with the Tory leader, no matter what was at stake. Gordon Brown, the Labour prime minister whom Cameron vanquished in 2010, was sent to plead with Corbyn to change his mind. Corbyn wouldn’t. Senior figures in the Remain camp, who included Cameron’s trusted communications chief Craig Oliver and Jim Messina, President Obama’s campaign guru, were furious.
>Even at more basic levels of campaigning, Labour were refusing to cooperate. The party would not share its voter registration lists with Stronger In, fearing the Tories would steal the information for the next general election. “Our data is our data,” one senior Labour source said when asked about the allegation.

But I think he wanted all of you people to know the truth. He wanted to live on in your memory, not as a leader, but as an honest man. But he was forbidden to tell you himself. And that's why he campaigned to remain. /pol/, history will ever know what he did. No one will ever learn the truth. His story... his true voting intention, will endure only in your hearts. Everything he did, he did for his country. He sacrificed his integrity and his position for his native land. He was a real hero. He was a true patriot.

Britain eventually may or may not be relatively better off than other countries by leaving the EU, but its economy and people stand to suffer significantly in the short to medium term".

I just don't get the bile that's coming from some of the countries in the EU outside of /pol/.

I went on /k/ earlier to see if they had anything to say on this and any thread that tried to talk about UK gun ownership was immediately shitposted to Hell, talking about our economic collapse, how useless we apparently were to the EU anyway, etc.

I just don't understand it. Are these people legitimate globalists, or are they just speaking out of hurt/frustration? I don't get how a board like /k/, which is usually so dedicated to the idea of sovereignty and cultural identity, as well as a general place of discussion that revolves around triumph over the state, can suddenly be so fucking angry about ANOTHER country taking some initiative for itself.

They sound legitimately angry/hateful, I didn't think there were actually any globalists on 4chan, especially with all the constant berating over muslims and how so many of our countries have to take them because of the EU. Did they shit just all suddenly go out of the window in their eyes because of muh economy?

>There's no way to make him an MP then PM all in quick succession?

My understanding is that it could be one of two things:

1: A general election, where all of Commons is up for election. (I've heard rumours about this, but I don't know how likely it is.) Nige could then pick a UKIP-friendly constituency and run.

2: The chance that some constituency might have a by-election that Nige could run in. Pretty slim odds, tho.

Any other ways to make Nige an MP?

He's not won a lot of friends in Westminster m8.

He's shown them all up as cowards on the Tory benches for one thing, plus he's called them out over things the Tories should have been doing as a matter of course for years now.

He might be offered a seat in the House of Lords by Bojo, and maybe even a non-portfolio executive sort of position floating around the new Cabinet, but he'll not set foot in the Commons most likely.

Politicians hate popular political figures, and Farage has pretty much directed government policy on all sides since 2013 over immigration. He's effectively been the Official Opposition all by himself. He's somehow managed to be on TV more than most of them put together, too, despite the insane media bias against UKIP.

If the Queen has an sense, she'll knight him after we leave in 2019/2020.

I can understand the frustration, but I dunno, I haven't seen many Americans berate us for this, it's only come from Europeans outside of /pol/ and the odd shitposting Canadian.

I do think it's just a perspective-based matter. I get this feeling a lot of mainland Europeans probably have the praises of the EU sang a lot more, but the UK has always been pretty sceptical of it, mostly because we've always been aware that Europe's never looked upon us fondly.

Has there ever been a case throughout history where a smaller state leaving a bigger, more powerful organisation hasn't fucked their economy in some way? Surely it's always about the recovery process.

The Scottish parliament has no power over the UK government. Scotland is not a member of the EU, they get so say in the matter whatsoever.

The Scottish parliament is restricted from passing law which is contrary to EU law. Even in the parallel universe where Scotland has power over the UK government, the Article 50 mechanism is part of EU law. It cannot be contrary to EU law and part of EU law.

Scotland are an irrelevance.

We all saw the stick up in South Thanet m8.

Where uniquely the voters turned out and put in a UKIP council with a massive majority, but somehow Farage lost the MP race? They elected a UKIP council, but not the face of UKIP?

Coincidentally, three ballot boxes went missing for several hours, delaying the result, and entirely coincidentally Farage lost by about three ballot boxes worth of votes.

It's a very dirty game indeed. Nigel has the last laugh on Thursday, of course, but I'd bet the same sorts of coincidences would plague him if he ever tries to stand as an MP again.

>Referendums aren't binding.
Good idea, the politicians (Cameron, Corbyn, Farron, the EU cucks) should go back on what they've already said to pull a technicality on the majority of Britain *after* the damage to the markets has already been done (and survived), just in order to appease the pathetic dummy-spitting minority of bots, foreigners and babies who signed some nonsense internet petition.

That will play really well with everyone, especially people who actually bother to vote. Our opinions pale into insignificance compared to those of Swedish 13 year olds.

The referendum is effectively binding. Anything else is political and literal suicide, and begging for an actual, real life civil war.

>Top fucking kek you think the Tories aren't going to hold Article 50 over the country's head as a reason to vote for them?

They're going to try, but the eu won't let them.

Also - playing party political games with Britain's status in the EU will worry markets and investors. See this from the Economist, which is the place to go to find the perspective of the neo-liberal capitalist faction:

>A lot depends on the kind of trade deal Britain can negotiate with the EU and how quickly. If Britain gets a quick deal with no big reductions in its access to the single market, the grimmer scenarios for the world economy may not come to pass. But markets do not seem to be counting on it.

If we take the piss invoking article 50, and then take the piss quibbling over free movement of labour in trying to re-join the single market, then the "worst case scenario" that Economist talks about is going to come to fruition.

I live in a relatively affluent part of West Yorkshire. I went to college a few years ago to get my CSCS card. The funding actually came from Barnsley college, which is 25 miles away. Barnsley College had money from the EU, presumably because Barnsley is a shithole and qualifies for funding.

You think Europeans have forgotten violence? Believe me if the government defies the will of the people Britain will have a terrorism issue worse than ISIS.

Magic how 12 hours later all the remain talk was wrong and people want to come negotiate with us directly... Including eurozone nations..

>I spend a lot of time in South American banana republics.

Britain isn't a South American banana republic, Leave voters are overwhelmingly concentrated in the over 65 age bracket, and are not going to start a Zapatista style insurrection in the UK. I could go on in great detail spelling out the exact reasons why comparing Britain to Panama or Belize is incredibly stupid.

>After months of violent rioting you'll end up with a home grown version of the IRA.

There won't be months of violent rioting, and the IRA didn't come together as a result of any sort of rioting at all it was a paramilitary organisation tied to a national government.

I'm not saying there'd be no trouble, but you're losing touch with reality if you're banking on the blue rinse tory Leave voters to stage a guerilla warfare in a state like Britain.

Britain has democratic integrity. Destroy that at your own peril.

Spain won't let you into the EU if you leave the UK.

It will be by referendum. Scotland had one in 2014 and the vote was 45% leave, 55% stay. Now the SNP wants to hold another one because scotland voted stay and england voted leave. A lot of scots dont like the fact their vote is worth less than dog shit within the uk so want to commit economic suicide to leave a centuries old union started by scotland.

Im from scotland and voted yes/leave last time out of blind nationalism.
Ill be voting remain this time just to spite these venomous, crybaby, retard cucks im forces to call my countrymen.

Legitimacy is the word you're looking for.

You do realise that referendum has no power behind it?

Which means that you can bang on the pot all you want but the final decision has not being taken, and legal work has not even begun, let alone was done.

Seeing all these imbeciles holering on top of their lung about leaving EU makes me resentful.

Instead of contemplating cause-effect, or trying to see where it leads, most of you here, and out there, keep bleeting same damn thing, like sheep.

Blimey.
