Brothers our escape from the EU has only just started. What we need to do to secure a deal we want in the negotiations:
> Back the best candidate to be the next Conservative leader. Under no circumstances can a remain MP take the job

We can't let those people negotiate on our behalf. r/unitedkingdom has a thread asking retainers what they want to be included in the negotiations and those cucks are calling for us to keep freedom of movement.

No. They may theoretically be obligated, but they can simply fail to join ERM 2 as Sweden has done. [Indeed, as the UK is not a member of ERM 2 Scotland would have to join that first, and there's no way it meets the criteria as Britain currently doesn't.]

>The SNP even lost support in the last Scottish parliament elections.
They gained FPTP support. The support they lost was to the Greens, not to any unionist party.
If Scotland's place in the union is safe, there is absolutely nothing to fear from a second referendum.
1.6 million people, of whom quite a number will have been part of the 2 million who voted no, provides a strong justification for a second referendum on the basis of "UK or Europe"
Perhaps had Better Together not used the EU as an issue in the independence campaign [Papers, etc, could still have done it.] there would be no case, but now a case there is. For a referendum, at least.
[Even if, and I say it again, the case for a referendum does not immediately constitute a case for independence. There is no guarantee that Yes will win this time given how bad other circumstances are economically which people will have to face down during a second campaign, but the dogged cowardliness involved in trying to avoid such a campaign entirely because Scotland may change her mind bothers me.]

Ignoring globalist Labourites, the prospect of being out of the EU as a result of the already-announced EU referendum was almost completely glossed over. People who didn't want to risk leaving the EU despite having no strong love for it may have taken what was sold as a safer status-quo option.
>even worse for you
I'm not pro-independence or pro-SNP.
>very few people really care about staying in the EU.
Ah, well that's all a matter of how you spin it.
Ultimately, there is nothing to fear from another referendum if you believe people actually want to stay in the UK and have no regrets about their earlier decisions.
It becomes very clear when people are just afraid because of the direction of travel last time. [which is a bit of a silly metric.]

All you'd do is set a precedent to have a referendum every time someone sneezes which would actually do long term damage to investments, not the fluctuation we saw around the last referendum or this current one.
>People who didn't want to risk leaving the EU despite having no strong love for it
Will also go away in a few weeks/months when people see that nothing has happened to the UK and given the ridiculous shit people had been claiming would happen, which would have stuck in peoples' minds, will just make claims that "the worse parts will happen next year, honest" less credible.

>All you'd do is set a precedent to have a referendum every time someone sneezes
The UK leaving the EU, after Scotland was told the only way to stay in the EU was to vote to remain in the UK, is hardly someone sneezing.
>Will also go away in a few weeks/months when people see that nothing has happened to the UK and given the ridiculous shit people had been claiming would happen, which would have stuck in peoples' minds, will just make claims that "the worse parts will happen next year, honest" less credible.
We will see.
The most amusing thing is that by trying to prevent a referendum now you actually risk the greatest outcome for the union as a whole - if the SNP lost this one, that's them buggered for a good while
>>78682831
>In different circumstances.

>The most amusing thing is that by trying to prevent a referendum now you actually risk the greatest outcome for the union as a whole - if the SNP lost this one, that's them buggered for a good while
Exactly why I said that I don't think there will be one.
>>78678703
It already, to a large extent, is.
When they talk about privatisation of the NHS they don't mean 'turning it into private healthcare' where people would have to pay for their treatment. That would never fly with the public and rightly so. British citizens shouldn't have to pay for medical treatment, this isnt the 1800s.
What is actually means is that all the money will go to private companies who will then carry out the duties that the NHS currently does. So instead of £1,000,000 going to your hospital so they can perform emergency operations it will go to "Slice 'Em N Dice 'Em Inc" who will then provide an emergency operation service. Instead of money going into developing software the NHS use it will be licenced from a private company.
While this might not seem like a big difference the problem is that the private companies are, obviously, out to make a profit, rather than look after the wellbeing of British Citizens. As such they often provide hugely inflated prices for their shoddy and lacking products and services.
For example, I work at a hospital and we pay a company £500,000 a year to provide our patient record software. The company owns offices at 1 (yes, 1) St Pancras Square. If I remember correctly they are the floor above Louis Vuitton. This very same software crashes if more than 350 people log into it (We have about 500 who need to use it on a day to day basis.) So if you ever wondered where your taxes are going; that's where.
If you can't see why that's bad, and who benefits from that, then there's really no help for you.
>>78683059
>It will always be different circumstances.
None quite so radical as this.
>Exactly why I said that I don't think there will be one.
