Human beings are simpler than you think. That's not to say that the MBTI is a good test though.
IQ for example is highly correlated with life outcomes and can be determined in an afternoon. If we got over our progressive dogma and laws employers could just give people IQ tests instead of people having to go to university for four years. After all, the knowledge gained from most degrees, especially in the liberal arts, is not actually used by graduates. Rather, a degree is just a proxy for 'reasonably intelligent, can work hard enough'.
Likewise we could split children into classes based on IQ and improve the education system dramatically. Put the dimwitted in glorified daycare and let the gifted work undisturbed by class clowns.

The thing about these tests is that the way they work you're ALWAYS going to get those kinds of inconsistencies. They're based on gross tendencies, not questions that reveal your underlying functions. If there's a question that asks "Do you feel good in crowds?" It's probably BS-- Someone who is primarily Ne (Extraverted intuition) may very well hate crowds as much as any introvert.
I think I've only ever seen one online test that used functions and it was stupidly long, like 300 questions. Not worth taking.

The problem with inferior Fe is that you think emotion doesn't influence your decision making at all, even though that's a logical contradiction when you think about it. Fe, in addition, makes them more likely to choose short-term happiness without considering the long-term consequences.
Fi's, especially the inferior ones, are people others consider "heartless," while inferior Fe's are the Doc Brown types... Logical but at least relatable and given to kindness when faced with a situation that called for it.

A lot of people feel this way. I think it's because traits are still being passed down that are necessary, but aren't valued in modern pussified, babified society. Examples: Hunter-gatherer, explorer, fighter, etc.
