TEN REASONS TO BE OPTIMISTIC:
1. 2 weeks ago ICM released their final polls, showing Leave winning by 5% in both online and phone polls. After this the head of ICM announced they would release no new polls, as they're convinced it will be a vote for leave. At the last UK referendum, ICM's last poll predicted the result with 100% accuracy
2. A private poll was conducted by Leave.eu founder Arron Banks, of over 10,000 people (by far the largest poll ever conducted). Although not released, Banks hinted that it showed a significant lead for Leave
3. A recent poll by TNS showed that Leave led by 2, but by 7 amongst people who were actually likely to go out and vote
4. The Sun, the Daily Mail and the Sun on Sunday, the 3 largest newspapers in the UK, have all endorsed Leave
5. The Sun have endorsed the eventual winner in every election and referendum since 1974
6. Cameron was forced to give a hurried impromptu speech at Downing Street yesterday. It was rumoured this was due to recieving private polling data showing Leave on course for victory
7. It is set to rain heavily in London on polling day, limiting the turnout there significantly
8. Leave voters are already more motivated, as walking 10 minutes to a polling station to say "I want radical change in society" is far more motivating than saying "things are okay as they are, I guess"
9. In 1975, Remain won by 33%. Despite what politicians said at the time, even this wouldn't be the final word on the issue. There will almost certainly be another vote in a few years time if remain wins narrowly

Can't wait to see the back of the EU referendum debate. It has become rather tedious mainly since both campaigns are piss poor. For anyone who cares to read, here a a few of the reasons why I believe remaining in the EU will be better and intend to vote as such.
Economically, based on what I've read, we have benefitted and will continue to do so being in the EU. Britain would be in a much better bargaining position as part of the EU than if it were on its lonesome. If it's not broke, why fix it?
I don't buy in to the whole "Taking back control of our borders" thing either (I've also lost count of how many times I've heard that) As far as I'm aware, both Norway and Switzerland, whilst enjoying most of the privileges the EU brings but not being a member state, still have to allow the free movement of EU workers and people and abide by most EU laws without having a say. Don't see why the UK will be given different terms should it come to it. The same applies to financial contributions to the EU but we would be getting less back in subsidies that at the moment go directly to some of the poorest areas of the U.k.
The argument that decisions are made by some person sitting in an office in Brussels are slightly off as well. Looking in to it, each member state is very well represented at different levels throughout the legislative process and much more fairly than the current FPTP system used in the UK general election. As for the European Commission, well our elected members of the European Parliament and the European Council which the national government has a say in has to agree with the appointments in the first place.
Whilst the EU isn't brilliant, we are better off standing inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in.
Don't take either my word or anyone else's. Go find your own reasons for voting that aren't written on the side of a bus or on the front page of the Sun.

The EU makes up less than 6% of our GDP, not counting the burden of the huge 300,000 per year waves of cheap labour immigration putting our lads in difficult positions.

The EU at the very top is unelected, the entire thing is a bureaucracy. We have to not only vote for our politicians at home, we now have to pay equal attention to the foreign politicians that are MEP's too. Our ability to make decisions, our focus is overstretched.
The EU is an unambitious faux-cozy alternative to being a globally relevent country. We dont want to be absorbed into Europe. We want to trade as a nation, as the rising economies of the world are.
