Counts will get under way when polls close at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 23 June at 382 local centres around the UK. These local results will be declared as the counts are completed before being collated at 12 regional centres, which will also declare the totals for each side. There will be a rolling total so the time at which one side reaches the point of being mathematically unbeatable depends on how quickly the vote are counted and how close the results are running. It is a safe bet that from 4am onwards there should be pretty clear picture of which way the vote is going. A chief counting officer will announce the overall result at Manchester Town Hall. There will be no official exit poll, although some private banks are doing one, but they might not release the results until after the official count. Keep your eye on the Sterling, if it suddenly tanks, then we can guess the results. Yougov is also running a exit poll.

I'll get called a shill or a redditor, but here it goes:
We've lost.
Tonights debate certainly wasn't a win for Leave. I'd give it a draw.
Now, that means that it won't change the latest polls, which give Remain a slight lead, generally.
Now add onto that lead for Remain a 2-4% boost because of the swing to the status quo that basically everyone knows will happen.
Voter turnout may claw back 1% for Leave, but that isn't enough.
Now factor in that Northern Ireland is normaly excluded from the polls. Northern Ireland is pro-remain, see pic related. So the polls underestimate the Remain lead.
We've lost it guys.
As a consolation: we will be able to content ourselves with the (legitimate, in my opinion) excuse that the fucking bastard Tommy Mair ruined it for us.
I pray for a shy voter effect, but I fucking doubt it'll be that big.
Don't get your hopes up, people. You'll just be massively disappointed on Friday morning.

Two days until we vote on the EU referendum. I've decided to vote remain (Brexiters don't hate me) and here are a smattering of questions and answers on the EU that I researched prior to my decision.
1) Do we spend £350 million a week on the EU? Subtracting our rebates, we paid £8.47 billion last year. That's roughly £169 million a week. That's about £2.60 a week per person living in the UK (UK business also recieve subsidies so that figure is probably less)
2) What will happen to trade? 50% of our exports are to EU members, we will probably still trade with them. Boycotting will only be bad for everyone involved. However, we would then require a trade license to continue business with the EU. This license will costs more than the EU membership!
3) Will the NHS become privitsed if we stay? Maybe. But it will probably become privitised faster if we left. The right wing in this country want this to happen. NOT the EU.
4) What about TTIP? That'll probably be on the cards if we stay or leave.
5) Is there a horde of raping, pillaging and murdering viking-style immigrants on the way to convert us and radicalise our children and enforce shariah law? No. Just no. There are, however, refugees trying to escape war all over Europe (not just the UK). Not to be mistaken for vikings.
6) Does the EU run the UK? To an extent they do. That extent being 12% of our laws come from the EU. These laws are mostly there to protect us.

7) What will happen to our jobs? We may lose up to 3 million jobs in the UK which are EU dependent.
8) If we remain, could we get another referendum in the future in case things end up worse? Probably. Europe doesn't have to give permission, we just do it ourselves.
9) Can we gain access back into the EU if independence doesn't work out? Probably not. That's for the EU to decide.
10) What will happen if we stay? Probably not a lot. Life will most likely continue as it has done.

The fact that we can choose to remove that power at any time just as we chose to give that power is the key difference here. If we were unable to remove that power then the UK wouldn't be sovereign over matters of EU law, the EU would. However the fact that our Parliament can vote at any time to remove that power means the UK Parliament remains sovereign.
It's a simple distinction to make really and fairly simple to understand. Allowing people to make laws for you and decide cases for you by choice is not the same thing as having laws and decisions imposed upon you. No matter how much you disagree or MEPs might disagree with certain decisions the EU makes our sovereign power Parliament has let us remain in that position and continued to give the EU power to make such laws and decisions a power that it can also remove.
If the EU was the sovereign here a UK referendum wouldn't even be an option, it would have to go through the EU commission. The very fact a "Brexit" campaign exists proves Parliament is sovereign over the EU.
