Another issue is non-Europeans getting 6 month+ Visas to the island. But hopefully we can get this sorted. Financial infrastructure will likely be sparse on the island so main costs before you've built anything will be updating roads to your remote fisheries/farms. Then actually making sure theres a trucking/ logistics company on the island or starting one , stuff takes time to be moved and sold and someone needs to do that which people constantly forget. Figure out your markets . If you are selling to natives other natives who are losing out on business will not be your friend. If you're selling off the island fresh food will be a logistical nightmare but possible in the long run. Look for possibility of alternative crops that arent as hard to keep fresh eg seaweed and stuff. Cash crops may be viable as well depending on soil elevation and a few other things but should be able to grow at least one . Economy is most important for encouraging immigration so dont do this without a solid plan on it . Will keep lurking
