Who took this picture of Mars Curiosity /pol/?
>>
Yep, the cunning tricksters who took so much time and effort to fake all space missions forgot this one detail.
>>
>>77822152
It's a selfie. It's possible because the gravity there is different.

Learn what perspective is, Pierre. It's not just the horizon that indicates flat: the ground appears to rise "up" to the horizon/vanishing point. Impossible on a sphere. Any "curve" you see in this photo exists in your mind alone.

The coriolis force is referred to as a "fictitious force" even in physics circles. A plane has a lot of mass.

It's not so much about disproving god as it is setting up an environment in your imagination where the existence of one is unlikely enough that you do it yourself. Hence the spawn of atheism.

Why do the same constellations stay visible all year over thousands of years if we're orbiting the sun and the sun is "moving" through space at millions of miles each day? Shouldn't we see new constellations every couple of months and the current constellation would get more and more difficult to see as we move away from it?
>>
>>77848523
Telling me to go read a book is not practical at the moment, if you understood it as well as you posture surely you'd be able to give an adequate explanation but I very much doubt that.

>Why do the same constellations stay visible all year over thousands of years if we're orbiting the sun and the sun is "moving" through space at millions of miles each day?
They dont though, they move all the time depending on time of year and your location on the earth relative to what you are viewing.

>Shouldn't we see new constellations every couple of months and the current constellation would get more and more difficult to see as we move away from it?
This is exactly what happens it is just that due to the distances involved with your naken eye it wont look that different. Use a telescope and you will have to adjust daily for the movement of the earth.

1) FE doesn't necessarily, claim to know the true shape or nature of sun and the moon, but there is no reason it couldn't be a "spotlight" at any shape. If I hold a lantern in front of you in a dark field the orb/dome of light will appear to follow it and get dimmer as it moves away

2) Coriolis doesn't exist at all

3) The lights and objects aren't in orbit around a ball earth, they are balloons and other objects, much closer and moving much slower than they claim

4) There is a solid firmament/dome around us. How does the ball earth's atmosphere transition to a vaccuum?

5) They don't, that's why you have Neil Tysons "bear shaped earth" that's "chubbier below the equator"

6) They do but the effect is distorted on an AE projection map, the grid lines are the same size on the edge as in the center so that it can fit on a page

7) "Gravity" is all density. To the extent what you are claiming is even true, its the difference in the density of the surrounding medium (air).

8) South pole doesn't even exist so not sure how to answer this, I doubt "gravity" is really stronger at sea level at the north pole.

Excellent deflection.
>if you understood it as well as you posture surely you'd be able to give an adequate explanation but I very much doubt that.
I already have given you an explanation that you said was wrong, I then offered you proof via books of a very scientifically orientated nature which you then said you wouldnt understand and wouldnt read.

Seems to me that you are the one who is denying proof and claiming to the be the winner here.

>Stand on the shore with a telescope as a boat goes out to sea, if the earth is curved the boat should eventually disappear from vision.
I see you dont understand how the atmosphere itself makes that not possible.

Now if the earth wasnt curved then please explain the need to develop phased array radar arrays for over the horizon use, if the earth was flat then there is literally no need for them.

Your argument would only make sense if the sun was stationary.

At the speed the sun is supposed to be moving, how far would it have traveled since the Greeks first saw the constellation over two thousand years ago? How are we able to see the same constellation with the same clarity today as they did back then?

This is why flat earth is perpetuated on youtube by idiots too full of themselves to read books but just dumb enough to sit still for two hours as a man loudly explains with zero citations but many anecdotes why science is wrong.

>>77850491
>How are we able to see the same constellation with the same clarity today as they did back then?
While we see them they are not in the same place today as they were then, even their writings from the era confirm it when they talk about other nearby constellations. Do you people really think that the heavens are static even though ancient people recorded what they saw back then?
>>
>>77850657
How far has the sun moved in the last 2,100 years?
>>
>>77850984
No idea, but the point isnt how fast the sun is moving right now, the point is that people of the previous era recorded what they saw in the night sky. They recorded what they saw, when they saw it and what was close by, we can look at these writings or drawings and compare them to what we see today in the same locations and when we do we see that the stars have moved due to our own changing of our relative position in relation to what constellations we are looking at. This is an accepted fact that even you can reproduce at home.

Space is vast, far larger than the human mind can comprehend easily. Who would have guessed that with such differences it would take time for a meaningful change to occur when it comes to a slowly shifting perspective based on visual reference points.

The idea of "vast" space is nothing more than a logical absurdity one is forced to arrive at by assuming that the earth is a ball which goes around the sun, to account for the utter lack of any observable paralax. Giant stars that are almost infinitely far a way. A judeo-masonic myth and an anathema to anyone with a real understanding of the relation of god and man.
>>
>>77852422
Space is objectively big, I dont see how this is even up for debate. With something so vast, how do you expect visual reference points to in anyway be indicative of total movement?

Have you ever seen a massive mountain rage before in the distance only to realize that it is so far away that you could drive for nearly two hours and it still looks virtually the same from your perspective? It is the same thing on a much larger scale.
