This is exactly what happens it is just that due to the distances involved with your naken eye it wont look that different. Use a telescope and you will have to adjust daily for the movement of the earth.

1) FE doesn't necessarily, claim to know the true shape or nature of sun and the moon, but there is no reason it couldn't be a "spotlight" at any shape. If I hold a lantern in front of you in a dark field the orb/dome of light will appear to follow it and get dimmer as it moves away

3) The lights and objects aren't in orbit around a ball earth, they are balloons and other objects, much closer and moving much slower than they claim

They recorded what they saw, when they saw it and what was close by, we can look at these writings or drawings and compare them to what we see today in the same locations and when we do we see that the stars have moved due to our own changing of our relative position in relation to what constellations we are looking at. This is an accepted fact that even you can reproduce at home.
