>REMINDER FOR THE 24TH
Counts will get under way when polls close at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 23 June at 382 local centres around the UK. These local results will be declared as the counts are completed before being collated at 12 regional centres, which will also declare the totals for each side. There will be a rolling total so the time at which one side reaches the point of being mathematically unbeatable depends on how quickly the vote are counted and how close the results are running. It is a safe bet that from 4am onwards there should be pretty clear picture of which way the vote is going. A chief counting officer will announce the overall result at Manchester Town Hall. There will be no exit poll.

Told her Cameron/Osborne would have to stand down as PM if Leave wins.
That enthused her to vote Leave like you wouldn't believe. I'm gonna try and convince lefties with this argument - my theory is that libtards genuinely see the world is good vs. evil black and white morality so the thought of Dodgy Dave (the bad guy) stepping down is a sort of victory to them.

Most of what Scots identify with as being Scottish where created in the mid 19th century to create a sense of divisionism from England. In the past our two nations have been very very similar and we rose to greatness together, but now people make up fairy tails of English Oppression and Mel Gibson in a skirt and it has almost torn this country in two
Why are the ops not showing the latest poll whch has remain at a 1 point lead? You should be informing people on the true details.

Also worth noting, we get back a third of what we pay in directly to the EU. So we could have regenerated twice as many Liverpools if not for the price of our EU membership in the same time period.

uscITA (uscita literally means exit) is quite good too.
Ok so I said this in the other thread, but its seemingly dead now...
In all seriousness from someone on the fence, has anyone checked into the facts on what he said about Farage? aka...
"Here are the facts about fishing. One, Britain makes more money than any other country in Europe from fishing. Two, Britain has the second largest quota for fish in Europe after Denmark. Three, Britain has the third largest landings. Four, you are no fisherman's friend.
"You were on the European Parliament Fishing Committee and you attended one out of 43 meetings."
If this is true, instead of being biased shouldn't we question Farage why the fuck he only went to 1 if he pretends to care?
>>77403497
they need the eu money fo dem programs
I hate cringing fucking cunts with no sense of identity.
I hate Remainers who feel the need to emphasise their patriotism [while talking about how Britain would lose WW3 to the EU if we vote leave.]
I hate British people living in Scotland who say "I'm a proud Scot... but I think we should be part of the UK" as though that isn't a decision to be a region, as though that's still maintaining nationhood.
The nation state is fundamental. While the UK is a multi-national state and I have my doubts about the long term stability of it, when you're a europhile you are actively chosing European identity over British, and you should accept this. Similarly, when you vote for Scotland to remain in the UK you are voting for "Scottish" to be a regional identity and not a national one.
"Brexit doesn't have a monopoly on patriotism!!!" they say, but they are transparent. They care not for patriotism not for their country, but for themselves and for finance.
A parcel of rogues is underselling it.

Liverpools ship building is limping by on RFA contracts, Scottish and Isle of Man ferries a few subs and that research vessel.
If we get out of the EU we can control Chinese steel and get our own steel back on its feet, we can then funnel that straight into Cammell Lairds ship builders and make it great again, the same way Germany funnels it's steel into VW

The UK is an island nation, the largest by far in the EU (second largest is Ireland, which as what, 10% of our population?) and there are many EU countries partially, or even completely landlocked. The UK earning more money from fishing isn't a surprise, but we can easily be earning much more without the EU.

>>77403735
He's a UKIP member, part of their manifesto is boycotting EU stuff and not turning up
Then there's the fact Farage isnt the UKIP MEP responsible for that Committee
Then there's the fact that that committee is useless anyway
Blocks to Reform: Changing any aspect of the Common Fisheries Policy – even ones which are clearly broken such as subsidies or destructive and wasteful such as discards – is very difficult indeed. This is because the EU moves at an extremely slow pace with endless committees, reports, investigations and so on having to be carried out before any action can take place, but also because agreements need to be reached between all member nations before change can take place. This is a particular problem because nations such as Spain and France almost always try to derail any regulation or rule changes which will disadvantage their fishermen, even if the rule change will help restore fish stocks and benefit everyone in the long term. This can be seen in the discard ban where France and Spain issued a ‘joint declaration’ which aimed to allow discards to continue indefinitely (in the end they only gained small exemptions for themselves). Similarly, an attempt to ban deep-sea trawling was narrowly defeated, even through this practice causes untold damage to ancient and delicate ecosystems and the entire deep-sea trawling fleet is almost entirely French (and runs at a massive loss and is only propped up by EU subsidies). The reasons for the French and Spanish blocking reform are perfectly logical: they have the largest fishing fleets and receive the most in subsidies – Spain in fact has the largest fishing fleet in Europe but does most of its fishing outside of its own territorial waters. Furthermore, CFP Reform Watch state that Spain receives around half of the total subsidies handed out by the EU – a good situation for them but it is a terrible one for Europe’s fish stocks.

The committee doesn't have any actual power. He never tried to hide this. He was elected on a manifesto to campaign to leave the EU and keep the public informed about its bullshit. People didn't send him to Brussels to fatten his wallet on their obscenely generous tax funded employment package. They elected him to secure this referendum. These committees are meaningless, the commission makes the real decisions and Farage isn't on the commission.

The same method as the Germans use, they create jobs for their workers through steel and manufacturing by funnelling it directly into their VW plant
Our steel may be to expensive to sell by itself, but if we turn that into world quality ships in a production chain we can make it profitable and create more jobs.
Chinese steel may be cheaper and profit may be lower, but reinvigorating our industry is more important

Even when change does take place it is painfully slow. The discards ban took three years to agree and came close to being completely derailed or watered down to the point of being useless a number of times. Even when it was agreed in late 2013 it will be phased in between 2015 and 2019, meaning it will have taken almost a decade to fully implement a system which basically amounts to stopping fishermen throwing away perfectly good and edible fish.

>EU will just ignore it or force you to vote again like they've done in the past?
Weren't the previous referenda in other countries about EU treaties? So when people said no they weren't necessarily saying no to the EU as a whole or as a concept, just the Lisbon treaty in particular (I'm not sure if referenda were held on any others to be honest).Ours is not about ratifying any treaty, it's about us deciding if we want to be a part of the EU at all. It's a lot simpler in that regard so I don't think the 'no lol you just don't understand vote again' thing will work here.
The real worry is that even after everything, the leave vote is nowhere near as strong as it ought to be. We're the most Eurosceptic nation that's just witnessed the Eurozone and refugee crises and we may still lose the vote. If we don't do it now, we never will. The difference in voting intentions between 18-24 and over 65s is astonishing. Another few years with the older generation dying off and millions spent on EU 'education' programmes would make leaving impossible. Other countries may try but, not to sound arrogant, I don't think they would have the same domino effect that we would. Feels like Eurosceptics across the continent are depending on us.

All the EU does in places like Liverpool is allocate the money better and to be fair it does, it's all still paid for by the British a the end of the day, just allocated better, less bias as the South generally likes to keep the money and investment down south
in Liverpool our ports etc are booming and are highly modernised, but that's not down to the EU that;s down to The Peel Group and Peel Ports etc who also revitalized Manchester and a 75% British company, the other 25% is Saudi funnily enough

Instead of toiling to reform of a broken policy and battling with the vested interests of certain European nations which only care about the short-term interests of their own fishing industry Britain should instead look to Iceland and Norway. These countries may be geographically located in Europe but they are not members of the European Union, meaning they are not signed up the Common Fisheries Policy and fully control commercial fishing in their own waters. These nations do allow a certain number of EU vessels into their waters to fish, but the EU must negotiate this with these countries (the ‘Northern Agreement’) and it is Norway and Iceland who set the quotas themselves and entirely control what happens inside their Exclusive Economic Zones. This has led to these two nations having some of the richest fish stocks in the world with valuable food fish such cod and haddock thriving – not only are there many more fish but the average size of the fish are much larger as well (hence all of the European angling holidays which are advertised always having Norway or Iceland as the destination).

Really too early to say. Leave just has to keep on top of things and they'll have it, but a lot can happen in a week.
Worst that can happen is that are Nige drops a bollock, but I think he's leaving it to Johnson and Gove for now, who are pretty much the only two people who can realistically fuck things up. If Remain keep their collective gobs shut, that might bring back a status quo vote.
That said, Remain can't afford to sit back and hope for a fuck up, because if Leave reciprocate they'll win by default based on the growing pile of Remain fuck ups; they have no choice but to plow forward and hope to find gold. This is a good thing, because there is absolutely nobody on remain that could possibly swing it by themselves without leaving massive counter stroke opportunities.
They blew the fearmongering load too early thinking it would work exactly like it did in the Scottish Referendum, but they forgot that Salmond and Sturgeon obnoxious enough that the public didn't pick up on the condescending attitude it portrayed. Leave doesn't have that issue, and now they can't make any negative claims without it being attributed to fear attempts, and positive claims are seen as toadying or virtue signalling.

>Britain is the nation
At least you say it out loud.
As an Englishman, I see Britain within the framework of empire. Without empire [save various islands dotted around to remind people.] British identity faces a crisis. It isn't a real nation, but 2.75 nations grouped together.
Scotland is something of a failed integration project. That they reported over 50% "Scottish only" identity in the 2011 census is indicative of that.
Nonetheless, if we are to force Britishness the choice must be made stark: Either Scotland is a nation, and she thus deserves a state, or she is a region and "British" is her identity.

Now that they are voting to remain in a Union that is not headed by the English so they have no reservation about openly admitting to being leeches who are worried their bennies will go away if we exit the EU.
A lot of people are baffled how a referendum for Scotland to leave the UK could have had better results than a referendum for Scotland to leave the EU.
The answer is the Scottish just don't like England and have an eternal inferiority complex, but will gladly suck the EU cock and beg for more.

This is a binary choice. If all the polls are pointing the same way, it means something. The shy tory effect will work in our favour too, as well as the likelihood to vote and recent events such as the Euros and Orlando. How many brexiteers do you see coming out in celebrity media or social media compared to the luvvies and sjws? Shy brexiteer af mate.

>They decided for themselves in September 2014 mate
They were sold the lie that they could have Scottish national identity but reject independence by Labour shit peddlers with no respect for the very notion of a nation-state - be it British or Scottish in nature.
It's not enough to say "you had your chance", it must be accepted on an individual level.

Do you really think WW3 would be anything like a challenge?
One side has the combined force of Eternal Anglos, and maybe even the Ruskies.
The other has the greatest cucks the world has ever seen and a bunch of Slavs squatting around lit bins, all propped up by the French Military.

Modern Scottish identity is a fantasy from the mid 19th century, we were both very alike prior to that and this anti English sentiment stems from the divisional campaign that has been happening ever since
