Reminder for the 24th lads:
>When and how will the results be announced?
counts will get under way when polls close at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 23 June at 382 local centres around the UK. These local results will be declared as the counts are completed before being collated at 12 regional centres, which will also declare the totals for each side. There will be a rolling total so the time at which one side reaches the point of being mathematically unbeatable depends on how quickly the vote are counted and how close the results are running. It is a safe bet that from 4am onwards there should be pretty clear picture of which way the vote is going. A chief counting officer will announce the overall result at Manchester Town Hall.

Unfortunately a bit too late to jump on it this time tbqhwufamily
Look for more future opportunities like this.
1. Binary outcome : in/out
2. Huge uncertainty over which might win
3. Bet on highest odds just after big swings
4. Wait till that reverses (new poll, new politican getting involved etc)
5. Bet on that to cover what you paid for the other bet
6. Lather, rinse repeat.
Basically each bet looks like this
1. Bet ยฃ100 for brexit at 6/1, whatever (Win 600)
2. Wait for swing (currently lose ยฃ100 if remain)
3. Now swing, bet Remain to cover that ยฃ100
Lets say that is 1/2. Bet ยฃ200 / Win ยฃ100
At this point you are garunteed either to lose nothing or win ยฃ400.
Keep on doing this same thing over and over on swings

You aren't forgotten, American's. It's your turn next after June 23rd viz November. Thanks for your support. Trump will be President. I hope that isn't too daunting a concept for you to come to grips with.

I was basing my example of two referendum's, both which pitted Denmark against the EU. Both times the Denmark side got a 5+ late in the day bump against the EU.

>UKIP has been eating into Labour votes for some time.
They still take more votes off Tory than Labour as a general rule. UKIP surges in the Labour heartlands are consistently overstated, which is why people ridiculously end up getting their hopes up over things like the Oldham by-election and end up with a hard fall back to reality when the votes get counted.
As for UKIP - understandable that they are doing quite well at the moment in the midst of an EU referendum. It's their reason d'etre. What happens after is what would worry me. There's talk of splits, re-launching the party with a more left-wing economic program, Nuttall and his mates not happy with things and they're waiting in the wings to make their move.
>>77121215
remain have always been in the lead on phone polls, so the fact we've taken over on the phone polls twice in a row speaks volumes about the general feelings.
cant predict the vote but leave leading in the phone polls is incredibly reassuring.

> I hope that isn't too daunting a concept for you to come to grips with.
In the words of Sam Adams If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

REALLY fucking difficult with this kind of lead, too many observers to actually get it done.
>ignore the results/re-run it
There are enough Tory rebels to crash the government if they do this.
So really it's not possible. Or we are about to have a constitutional crisis, which will makes Cromwells statue turn around, smash through the Palace of Westminister and desolve parliament himself
If we lose it will be the most heart breaking loss. Fuck..
>We'll lose and be demoralised forever
>>77122456
Obligatory, hope it doesn't trigger you my kraut friend.
>>77122597
Not sure if this is called matched betting, just an arbitrage strategy you can pull of with certain types of binary bets.
Note. You can lose with this (if it doesnt swing back a substantial amount), but the point is you are always limiting how much you lost. Make more money, the more it swings, its a financial trading strategy.
The odds have moved quite a lot recently, however I think it will just be getting harder and harder to pull of this strategy (because now the odds are so close). You benefit when the odds are very very different.
>>77122577
It will be completely rigged. It will be 51% leave 49% remain and then Owen jones will turn up with a van of postal votes, all in his handwriting, all for remain, I guarentee it.
>the best they have is gordon brown
>>77121041
>the massive EU, by far the largest economy in the world.
Please tell me you're joking, slovenialad.
You know that's not true, right?
The fact that the guardian commissionned a poll showing leave in the lead makes me think it's bullshit. They're scaring remainers into action. Please tell me I'm wrong.
