Modern JavaScript is so (((expressive))) that malicious code can hide in plain sight.

This is still very relevant:

>>
is the list capped at 171? its not loading from the source url (its 404)
>>
>>76064356
Safest would be something that use vpn/proxy for every site and disables all tracking (like in google and chromium)
Torbrowser would be an option but the servers are probably tracked, epic privacy browser uses its own servers, but who knows exactly.

Chrome is the worst option though.
>>
>>76064726
That's not relevant at all, retard. If your browser or OS is already compromised then you have bigger problems to worry about than downloading this extension.
>>
>>76058689

I still have it on my machine, pretty useful to me since Chrome doesn't allow local .swf files to be played in it.

>>

crash reports and user metric tracking per standard in chrome, a lot of other tracking is enabled too like phishing, malware protection etc.
the metric tracking can't be turned off, they literally track every page you visit and with google auto suggest every key you press. expect they also didn't got rid of the client ID tracking.
>>
>>76065224
Hmm, well IE is discontinued from Microsoft's perspective. They wouldn't have any system set up for tracking since hardly anyone uses it. I think I'll slowly transition to IE.
>>
>>76065363
Without losing much comfort you could go with HTTPS Everywhere as a firefox extension (can be turned on/off) which proxies every site.
If you want to be really safe some linux text base browser via open wlan on unknown device like a R-PI or something would be the way
>>
>>76065654
I have some experience with unix but I don't think I could use a text based browser day to day. I wouldn't be able to see images on 4chan and I'd have problems with flash.
>>
>>76065654

>>76066201
upgrade? Clean install here bro.
Better performance and DX12.
Can always dual boot and encrypt for security
>>
>>76066326
Is windows still ok security wise?

Or is it bloated for no reason?
>>
>>76066291
https://panopticlick.eff.org/
>>
>>76066440
Windows 10 really impressed me. Went for a minimal look. Removed those old windows borders that sucked.
Security wise, it's up to date and windows defender is a cloud based antivirus. It's gives some false positives like that jew detector app. But it's possible to disable it
Faster, no bloat.
Just don't install the US version if you want to evade Cortana. Choose some region that's not supported and choose English as language
>>
>>76066530

I do, we used to gain sort of convenience when privacy was given up. Think of a membership club with a store. They can track what you buy and you get some sort of discount. With cell phone tracking you can be located in an emergency if the need arises.

This collection of data in no way serves me as a customer, I have no reason to want this on my machine. Microsoft doesn't return anything for what it is taking. In fact it even costs me more bandwidth than I thought I was using.
