al nusra gains in south aleppo proves that gaining ground in syria is not as difficult as the saa wants to believe (they take 1 hill every week and call it a day). the saa just dont want to fight, thats why they gather outside of villages for weeks and wait for a deal with the rebels to flee and then come in and liberate
also russia is at fault for not being able to monitor jihadists movement. how can the saa side get constantly suprise attacked when the russians have complete air superiority, drones, satellites etc. i understand keeping a budget tight but they are also to blame for their weak support of the ground movements. a bombing run here and there is not going to win the war.
