Trump won the Republican Nomination, but that doesn't matter. Here's why:
Right now, Trump and Hillary have two big things in common. They are unliked by 90% of the population and they are New York liberals. Thus, there is a huge power vacuum open in U.S. politics right now. The Libertarians won't be able to fill it, considering how they are just as liberal as Trump and Hillary. The only person who can fill it is a Constitutional Conservative. That Conservative is David French. He hasn't even officially announced his campaign and he's already polling near Trump and Hillary. This year is the year of the outsider, which is way so many people are rejecting Washington liberals like Hillary and Trump. The media will go along propping up their dying campaigns, while underneath them, the French grassroots movement will be happening. Many people will write him off, but guess what. French has already won.
The real problem for third party candidates is the electoral college. Not in this case however. Right now, both Republicans and Democrats are running the two most liberal candidates in history. Conservatives are massively underrepresented. The liberal vote, therefore, will be split between Trump and Hillary. Conservatives will flock to French in numbers we've never seen before. I'm predicting that French will win at the least 40 states. It will be the biggest blowout since Reagan.
