I personally believe that but Norbert Hofer will save a slender advantage over time, since I do not think that Van der Bellen is dominated by absentee ballot so clear. Behind van der Bellen the complete Etablishment had placed and the media coverage was mostly clear against Hofer. What were there painted for doomsday scenarios on the wall when Hofer was elected.
I once attended a guest lecture of Dr. van der Bellen at my university. He has at least left no lasting impression on me. The course itself was very boring although.
