I applied to college. I don't know if they will accept me though. It's not that i don't want to drive, just that i never had anybody to teach me, and because i live miles out of town, i can't get anywhere, which is why I'm a NEET.
If i had to guess, i would say It's too stressful and too much responsibility for them to handle, and also takes away one of their excuses for being a NEET.

And the worst part is I'll never be able to have friendships like those with anyone else. I moved across the country, met people, and hung out with them. But I'll never really know them, and they'll never know me.

But in all honesty, just teach yourself. If you're far from town and you've got a lot of empty land to practice in you'll be golden. Driving really isn't hard, it's just one of those things you do and then it's done.
If it's really intimidating try practicing with something else, like a quad or a dune buggy. I was driving shit like that at 13 and 14 so when it came time to learn how to drive a car it was as easy as can be.
Basically, just don't worry about. Nerves are the only thing that can really fuck you up while learning.

Quit my job, applied for and got accepted to teach english in Korea.
I've been hanging out for the last couple months fucking around, reading and studying for the lsat. Getting between 170-173 on my timed practice tests.
With the way the legal industry is going I'm pretty much only going to law school if I can get into a t14 (I think I have a decent shot at Georgetown) or a steep tuition cut at a t2.
I'm sober 5 months today after 3.5 years of alcoholism.
I've been averaging 40 mile weeks for several months now and I weigh as much as I did in highschool (179-84 lbs down from 195-200 lbs).
Been with my gf for almost five months now.
Things are as good as ever.
I took her virginity and she's my first long term relationship.
The sex keeps getting better and better.
It could be better (moving back in with my parents soon to save a little money before I head to Korea, gf is going to stay stateside for 2 months while I'm in Korea to finish up her BA meaning there'll be a little more than 3 months where we'll be able to see each other weekly or not at all), I have contingency plans if law school doesn't work out but they're far from fully fleshed out now. I'm on antidepressants (have been for about 2 months now). I feel loads better but there's some uncertainty about how I'll be able to take my prescription out of the country.
But life is good.
