I don't know many guys that just want a girl to have their kids and take care of the house....They want a girl who has a degree and can help with the bills. This is shitty American culture.I would stop blaming teachers and "media" it's literally our capitalistic culture.
Realistically to survive on one income it truly can only work if the husband has a really great job and is really educated. In-order to have family you need a house, cars, basics, health care, money for private school perhaps, vacations, etc. It's hard to obtain all that with one paycheck.
You need two incomes to survive in this country. Stop blaming women. I think many of them would trade being with their children and taking care of their husband then working a dead end job. It's sadly not possible financially.

Think about it. Put yourself in their position. Partying and living it up until they finally get into the real world around age 30. All this time they've either been ignoring the slow ticks of the clock. Now at 30 they have to rationalize. "I'm still young. 30 is the new 20." No boyfriend. No husband. Nobody to care about them beyond their years of sexual attractiveness. At 40 the day of dread finally arrives and hat do they have to show for their life? A mediocre job? A house full of cats to take care of?
