Chelsea Clinton: Now that Scalia's Gone We Can Enact Gun Control (VIDEO). http://tiny.iavian.net/9yiv

Reminder: This upcoming election will decide the fate of our 2nd amendment rights. Even if you loathe Trump (I know I do) it is imperative that we keep the democrats out of the Whitehouse. Yes, this IS /k/ related. Please watch the video. Also, mods can fuck right off.

You think if she were going out at night one night, all alone and without her security detail following her, and she got mugged or as much as followed by a couple of guys at night, she'd change her mind?
>>
>>71754366

She's a left wing politician. They need protection. The rest of us? We're too stupid to own a firearm. The police is all we need.
>>
>>71754366
according to /pol/ rape isn't so bad and they secretly like it
>>
>>71754367
They don't hate guns. They just hate everyone that they don't specifically approve of owning guns. ie: only their personal bodyguards should have them, and certainly not any dissidents.

The only people who need to fear an armed populace are tyrants.

Seriously, fuck these people. I don't know if Shillary really has serious health issues or not. But if she does, lets all hope that those "definitively" settle the issue for us in short order. Because the DOJ certainly isn't going to indict.

They have their retarded laws, but most of them are bordered around social justice. Not economic faults. And plus, places like Finland are both very progun and, best of all, NEUTRAL.
Not perfect, but there are appeals.

This Bernout has a hard time with reality. You can't expect him to actually know what he's blathering about.
>>
>>71754423
A lot of Bernies shills seem to forget that a big part of the "income inequality" that exists is because the richest people in the US are the riches people on the entire planet, and because of that the 10% poorest people in the United States are still more wealthy than 70% of the planet.

But entitled babies who wand """free""" shit that inadvertently just further fuels the corporatism they claim to despise so much just can't see the bigger picture and want something for themselves RIGHT NOW.

I read a lot about politics. A lot of good things and bad things in the American political system.

How political SCOTUS has become is one of the few things that makes me so sorely hopeless for this country. Liberal. Conservative. Doesn't matter.

The fact people see replacing justices as a way to push any kind of unconstitutional legislation is a down right broken system. It's not something new, I know, but it's completely fucked.

Garland has been marketed as a "moderate" nominee justice. And to be fair, he is quite moderate compared to two of the justices. He is, however, going to uphold any firearm regulation that makes it to the floor.

Hillary will probably win this election, folks. No one wants to hear or believe it, but that's simply the likelihood we are living with. It's not a 100% given. It's just the most likely outcome as it stands.

Prepare yourselves for the political battles that are coming. We're going to need all the support we can muster.

Scandinavia is actually pretty fucked. It's just not apparent because the factors that we usually use to tell a healthy economy are good for them on the outside. Their currencies look healthy to us but internally, they don't buy you shit. Norway is the land of the forty dollar pizza and they have a black market for imported Danish butter.

Additionally, in Sweden there's like one family that basically owns all of the heavy industry and they're protected from competition.

See, here's the thing: All of this is your fault. The policies that you actively encourage exacerbate income inequality. Then when your shit inevitably fails, your response is that we need more of it.

>muh Reagan
Deindustrialization was going to happen and started happening under Carter. The only thing that allowed the Golden Age of Capitalism to occur in the Americas was the devastation of WWII. >>
>>71754395
I didn't say that the FBI wouldn't recommend one. I said the DOJ wouldn't indict her. The FBI can only recommend. The DOJ has sole determination in who to charge.

Furthermore, Obama has been on national television shilling for Shillary, saying that she shouldn't be indicted, even if she "made mistakes" and so on and so forth. He's already publicly interfered with an ongoing criminal investigation by stating what he wants done. Regardless of what the evidence shows. Obama appointed the head of the FBI and good ol' AG Lynch. Who do you think those people take direction from if not the Commander in Chief?

Don't count on Shillary being indicted. She won't be. I'd be surprised if the FBI even recommended such an action because of how much pressure you know the President is likely putting on behind the scenes to ensure that it doesn't happen.

>out competing a country in the labor market when we have 3x the population.

The rest of the world combined has nineteen times our population. And it's not strictly about the number of workers. Its about the market rate for labor in those countries. Substantially lower then here.

And when you live in a world where you can ship stuff across the ocean for cents on the pound, well...

Education got more expensive because the government shoved its big fucking dick into everything and legislated stupid fucking things into education that resulted in universities passing the increased cost of operation onto its students.

Oh, and maybe instead of whining like an entitled bitch about how expensive college is, you could work. I worked 60 hours a week between 3 jobs when I was in college. I took out loans because my grant money and paychecks couldn't cover the difference. I then graduated, got a great job, and paid off my $19,000 in debt in 13 months.

College is expensive because it's worth it as long as you decide to get a degree in a lucrative field. Don't come back and whine to us again when your retarded degree in basket weaving or gender studies didn't land you a job paying 6 figures. This is the real world, get an education and acquire skills that will allow you to become marketable and valuable.

It's hard to tell. Sandy Hook was the holy grail for gun grabbers, and they managed to make that backfire horribly. Obama has come out crying like a child recently to "get rid ob dem skury guns," and nothing much has happened. Shitty states like Cali are getting worse, but a lot of states are adopting less restrictive gun laws.

That said. Clinton is fucking dangerous. She has decades of shady deals, bullshit, blackmail, and general sliminess that could make pretty good tools in a fight against gun freedom. The possibility of her nominating a justice is pretty scary too.

I would implore anyone to vote for who they may for the president, but VOTE REPUBLICAN for the congressional elections. The way things are with Clinton and Trump, 4+ years of awful gridlock are far preferable to what they could do otherwise.

The biggest threat she really offers is replacing Scalia on SCOTUS. And of course she'll get to ensure another young liberal replaces Ginsburg. If she's really lucky, she'll stack a third young liberal to replace Kennedy since he's getting older. Then it'll be a 6-3 pro liberal court.

If she gets a Democrat controlled House of Reps and Senate majority again she'll probably make a run on gun control. Her best chance to do that would be during her second term since Presidents don't give two fucks after they win their second term. Will she succeed? Hard to say, but don't be naive enough to assume that she won't attempt it.

Your loan debt. That's your personal responsibility as an adult. You agreed to repay those loans when you took that money. That's on you, not me or any other taxpayer. I worked my ass off while in school so that I wouldn't have more than my "paltry" 19,000 in debt. Do you work 60 hours a week before school and studying come into play? Or are you like the many kids who "worked" 15 hours a week in the quad and complain incessantly about horrific student loans?

What your grandfather studied versus what we're doing now is drastically different. People with high school diplomas during the time of our grandparents could get good jobs. Now that high school diploma is just about good enough to flip burgers at McDonalds. If you're not choosing a major that is seriously preparing you for the field you want to enter, then good fucking luck.
>>
>>71754512
Not just John Oliver. In fact, I like a lot of his videos. The entire pro-censorship, anti-freedom establishment of leftism. I want them to eat shit from now until 2024 if not longer.

I'm a misanthropic bachelor so I'm not worried about that. But honestly I think gun laws are turning our way and I think Trump has a decent read on that tendency. Individual states are getting freer and freer except for the truly communist hellholes and more people are buying guns now than in most recent years (thanks, Obama!) I don't just trust Trump arbitrarily—I think pro gun is a winning position and I think he knows it.

>>71754514
I trust him about as much as I trust the rest of them. And no it's a pretty anemic office. He can't draft legislation, he can only approve or disapprove of it. He can send soldiers to obliterate sandniggers but we don't have conscription and are unlikely to anytime this century. The worst thing any president could theoretically do to me PERSONALLY is hyperfund the ATF to enable them to take a piss in my cornflakes.

>not voting at all

You are literally part of the problem. Pick the lesser of two evils here and stop being a pussy. This system won't just stop because people like you didn't vote. Not voting actually benefits those people. Even if you protest vote for a third party candidate, (which is just tossing your vote) at least you let your voice be heard.

Also a little food for thought. About 40% of Americans vote in Presidential elections. Obviously this number ebbs and flows, it drops to the low 30s sometimes. But less than half of eligible Americans actually vote. If those same Americans just protest voted for third party candidates, third party candidates might actually stand a chance. If people actually fucking voted, you could change up the game. You know why we don't have mandatory voting laws like other countries do? Because it benefits our ruling elite Democrats and Republicans to have most of the country not vote. It helps keep them in power with less than half of the people voting.

1) Hillary Clinton is the devil. She is a horrible person and will do everything she can to take your guns

2) Sanders is a socialist. He's just the real version of what Hillary tries to be. He's just Obama on steroids. Don't be fooled by the guns in Vermont. Sanders will go after guns the same as Hillary. He'll try to ban anything that doesn't have a wood stock and a bolt action.

3) Trump is an egotistical nationalist populist who spent his entire life catering to Democrats, opposing tax cuts, opposing gun rights, etc. He put on a brief show of force to get Republican support, but in the past days he's gone back to Democrat talking points (yes a man in a dress can whip his dick out in front of young girls, yes I'm going to tax the rich, wall street is evil, etc.). He has made some overtures to supporting gun rights during the primaries, but I don't buy it for a second. He's funded all the NY politicians, and look at the gun laws there. I don't buy it for a second that he's truly pro-gun. Also, his whole shtick is that he makes deals. Do you really want him making deals with the Democrats on who to appoint to the Supreme Court? I give it 90% chance Trump appoints anti-gun leftist judges.

4) Cruz argued in front of the Supreme Court to help the Heller case. Look it up. It's what affirmed the fact that the 2nd Amendment ensures individual personal right to bear arms, not just for some militia group. He is undoubtedly pro-gun and would undoubtedly appoint pro-gun judges like based Scalia.

If you're pro-guns, there's only one candidate who is a valid choice.

>it's ridiculous to work 60 hours a week and take 12 units

confirmed for never having attended college or held down more than one job. You need to find jobs that won't dick you on scheduling. Which is hard, but it certainly can be done. When you schedule classes in college, you can schedule classes so you only have class 3 days a week. Shocking, I know. And even more shocking, sometimes you might have to have classes 5 days a week, but one or two of those days are 1 or two classes that are an hour long. which means you can schedule shit around them.

Almost like if you're prepared to properly manage your time that you can actually work 60 hours a week and still do well in school as long as you're willing to make certain sacrifices like not partying and smoking weed with your friends every weekend.

But I suppose that making personal sacrifices over a short, 4 year period of time is beyond what immature, entitled retards like you are capable of understanding.

That's the goddamn point! How on earth could that ever be considered a good thing? A country survives off its middle class. You wanna know a country with income inequality like ours? India. Yeah, poo in the loo land. You wanna end up like them? Im sick of my taxes going to other countries instead of improving my own. I'm lucky enough to get born into a decent high school, some people get fucked out of even that. What you're doing is like ignoring this cancerous tumor of poverty and strife that's forming in your country. You have to be born in the right place, get a good middle and high school, make it into college, pay for college and so on.

Who said life was fair? You AGREED to take LOANS. You AGREED to REPAY those loans. You are an ADULT. You made a BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT to repay your loans. Man the fuck up and pay your debts.

You don't even present an argument or answer my question. Want to know how we can tell that you don't work while in school?

>muh income inequality boogeymen
You are literally in school so that you can get an income that allows you to enjoy that same income inequality. A nice, big paycheck higher than the people around you which allows you to enjoy a lifestyle that those people below you do not get to enjoy. You will get to enjoy that because you took debt, will get through college if you're prepared to finish what you started, then get a good job and pay off your debt over a few years in monthly payments that aren't all that bad (unless you want to pay even more so you can avoid paying more interest)

You do not need to be "born in the right place" to make it in life. My family made jack shit. I went hungry a lot. We all did. I did well in high school though, so i got some merit based scholarships that really helped. Because I was willing to work hard and not be like most of my friends at the time who wanted to go out and do drugs and who didn't want to study because "being a nerd isn't cool." I went to college with those scholarships but I still needed to work. I remember watching my dad bust his ass all the fucking time when I was younger. I used to have to help him before school sometimes so we could earn extra income. You really need to stop being afraid of hard work. Nothing in life is going to be handed to you unless you were literally given the birth place lottery and ended up born to multimillionaire parents. Lucky them. instead of being a little bitch and whining about how you weren't lucky enough to be born rich, accept your personal circumstances and keep doing what you need to improve them.

And yes, we can agree on that point. Fucking mods

Congratulations, you're an idiot.

No. She would be able to get away with getting firearms. She would have her own private army. Everyone else would be left defenseless and the carnage would just pile up gradually. These assholes need to go.
>>
>>71755992

The Constitution can change with a single SCOTUS case. One bad holding and you can kiss your rights to, anything, away permanently
>>
>>71754529

I am voting for anyone that isn't a Democrat that has a chance at winning.
>>
>>71756060

Your statement doesn't make any sense. Too much meth fuck up your mind, Poortugal?
>>
>>71756133
That's the most retarded thing I've ever heard. SCOTUS can only interpret the constitution. Only Congress can change it with the approval of the states.
>>
>>71755189

My parents came to this country almost pennyless, sent 4 kids to college and we combined make almost half a mil a year. If asians can do it, your faggy ass can do it you.
>>
>>71755989

What the fuck there was a furry board the whole time?
>>
>>71756133
Nope, that's called legislating from the bench, illegitimate.
>>
>>71755992
except the fact a liberal Supreme Court would rule "well regulated" as "needs a registry or formal militia that you have to register with"
>>
>>71756133
It was never supposed to be that way. The founder intended the Judicial branch to be the least dangerous of the 3. They are supposed to uphold the constitution, not subvert it,
>>
>>71755845
Lol, I don't need to prove anything to you. But enjoy your projection.

You neckbearded savage.

Why are Democrats obsessed with gun control? Can't they just leave gun owners alone?
>>
>>71756390

SCOTUS can "interpret" the ammendment anyway they want. Which includes "the second ammendment doesn't apply to civilian ownership", even though that's a bold faced lie.

>>71756541

They don't care anymore, they are just going to by-pass and ignore until someone decides to leave their lifeless forms dangling from tree branches. Since this will not happen, we are eventually going to be hosed.

FUCKING MODS

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO GO IN THE >>>/TRASH/, NOT HERE
>>
>>71756615
I've brought this up in dozens of 2A arguments, but it always somehow gets brushed off as irrelevant. I think Democrats just get resentful when they realize they're wrong and try to justify their dumb agenda even harder
>>
>>71756602
>not thinking Congress will react like it always does. Congress can, and has, reversed supreme court decisions. Either way, the supreme court has no way to enforce it's decisions. It's been ignored in the past and it can be ignored now

>>71756259
It makes sense to complain about this thread being moved here. And obviously if I know the thread was moved there was no reason to reply to me telling me about the move.

Should have stayed in school, Jamal.

No one in this election is looking our for our interests all that much. We are again stuck with trying to avoid the greatest most damaging evil.

We have to settle for the lesser piece of shit, at least until something changes and we start getting a better quality candidate.

Why has not anyone mentioned yet that she is married to a Jew, this race tratior whore? No surprise that she wants to take away guns from the Goyim and she is not even ashamed to use cheap pretenses such as 'muh family'.

Congress needs more than a simple majority to do that. And if the president supports the ruling, the ruling will be enacted

But enough about Ivanka Trump :^)

are the mods in /k/ really a bunch of jews or blue pilled faggots? Why is the issue of gun control taken off the weapons board where it fucking belongs and dumped into the political board. Either board would be a suitable place to discuss the topic, yet they dump it here because they think that /pol/ is a shithole "containment board"?
>>
>>71757700
It is a prerequirement for White candidates if they want to become president that their daughters are married to Jews.

Get AIDS and die slow. You would rather sell your soul on the alter of social and economic "justice", forcing social engineering and a true caste system because your too much of a fucking herd mentality coward to be an example in-and-of yourself to volunteer 30% or more of your pay to charity. Trump, Cruz, even Jim fucking Webb, doesn't matter, they at least believe in individual liberty.
