It's pretty objective that the USSR did the heavy lifting; we could have taken the West with French partisans and Italy was already collapsing before 41'.
Pacific theatre is a different matter though; that would have gone on longer but we had a pretty solid hold on Burma by 42' and would of had Japan beat by the 50's.
It's all speculation but the US wasn't as much as a decisive figure as you think you were.

In 1941, the Japanese army had 2 motor vehicles for every 1000 citizens. The German army had 16 for every thousand civilians. The American army had over 200. And that's not counting vehicles given to other allied nations.
The German army was severely under equipped. Sure you can talk about superior German engineering, but when they have one tank to every 15 of our tanks, they don't seem so powerful.
German production was wildly inefficient. They cared more about handmade goods with quality craftsmanship, and thus wasted time trying to stock up on a small number of the perfect supplies rather than a large number of adequate supplies. They assumed the Americans would do the same, and didn't expect such a rapid militarization of the American economy

If a country with less forces, less tech, far away from any ally, lacking in natural defences (Great European plain is plain open from west and east), attacked by overwhelming forces from two sides manages to hold on for longer than a supposedly Great Power attacked from one front close to its ally while having parity in numbers and tech, then the former country is objectively stronger.
Polish army was cool, but it went the wrong way. Armoured warfare of Soviets and Germans was superior. Still nice fleet you had for a Versailles abomination of ragtag rogue governorates.
Also Finns surrendered both times to Soviets, second time even way before Soviets reached the pre-war border.
Also, Poles continued the fight underground, IIRC maintaining even underground officer and soldier education for future recruits, while being brutally exploited with future plans for extermination. The French, in comparison, mostly just chilled until Normandy.
My Polish ancestors were repressed by Stalinists before 41, but I was told some other Poles from West Belarus known to family joined the two partisan Polish armies (Armija Krajowa and Armija Ludowa or something like that) when they could. That is a feat worth honouring.

Consider the fact Red Army had bloody purges and total confusion, while Germans had extraordinary officer corps.
This is best seen in aerial combat, Soviet planes were actually quite respectable but they simply had no people to train their pilots, so they suffered awful losses and only picked up at the end of war.
Soviets worked with what they got and won a victory. It wasn't due to manpower (Germany had 80 million citizens, Italy 50 million, Romania 20 million and so on), or industrial capacity (again, German superiority), it was due to Soviets managing to be more effective.

Third, Tsushima was nothing surprising, Rozhestvensky had to cross half of world and Baltic Fleet had much worse training and officers than Pacific Squadron. He didn't have much to work with really.
Pacific Squadron was also hampered by death of Makarov and the lack of initiative by his successor. It was literally sunk by Japanese land artillery in port.
And finally Japan was near Manchuria, while Russian Empire was vast and Trans-Siberian railway wasn't yet finished. They simply couldn't deploy troops as easily as Japanese could.
Even with all this, besides Tsushima, neither Russian army nor navy particularly embarrassed themselves, Japanese even noted that Russian gunnery was superior.
They lost that war based on pure strategic factors and internal dissent that evolved into a real revolution.
