When I went to school, the Chinese exchange students got an entire part of the school to themselves.
They never ever spoke English either, only talked to the Chinese teacher and each other.
We weren't allowed to have anything to do with them at all, it was a complete segregation.
There was however one who did choose to speak English and talk to us, and everyone thought he was cool and friendly. Voted him into the student council.
This was at a fucking high school. I'm not surprised leftist uni like QUT shit is just as bad.
