Fuck off to /x/, man. There is no Jewish conspiracy, and you are only destroying your own culture by discriminating against Jews. A strong Israel is a strong and prosperous America. I say this as a Christian man who, much like you, cares strongly about the U.S.

Jews don't control anything. They have no wealth or power. How would they given that all of their cultural possessions were taken in the Holocaust just 70 years ago. The whole world owes our people for the crimes that Germany inflicted

Can someone explain this?

I KNOW Nate is a shill, but the math has always made sense. Did he just explicitly defy the math on this or something?

>all polls but 1 show Trump ahead
>most recent polls show Trump with an even stronger lead
>polling average is Trump +6, prediction is Cruz+4

Mathematically, what could he have possibly done to rig it like that?

Legitimate question, /pol/

What would happen to Cruz's campaign if he were raped today? Say a few people ran on stage, ripped his pants off, and raped him. What would happen? How would he react? Would he forfeit to recover mentally? Would it turn away his more religious followers if he took one in the ass? Would his supporters be comfortable voting for him, or would they worry he was more emotionally unstable after the event?

This isn't an "If they can", we all know Secret Service would drop any fucker that lifted a finger wrong, it's a "What if they did".

Yes, as i saidf Trump has been taking most of the fire and Cruz's been protected.Even then he is right behind Trump in "unfavorables and "campaign unfairness"

Once Trump reaches the general though he no longer will have to tip toe around the fact that he used to be a democrat.

You tell me. The party in the past has insisted on offering up candidates who aren't conservative, who don't represent the values of the people who are expected to vote for the party but North East progressive-friendly Rockefeller Republicanism instead, and keeps losing, because the voter base aren't enthusiastic about the nominee. Trump in this regard is no different, with a healthy side of an insulting manner that doesn't suit them and a core of supporter who actively insults conservatives at the same time. >We saw a preview back in January when Hillary attacked Trump for being sexist. He brought up Bill's rape allegations and she too a hit in her polls and made a "new years resolution" to not talk about him anymore.
You don't get (but that's fine, because few do) that this was positioning. Each of the two were trying to elevate themselves above their competitors with this exchange, and add to the recognition of the candidate they would respectively want to face in the general.

>All these gay ass excuses. It's true that none of these candidates are particular strong but one of the reasons Trump kept rising and these debates were such "hits" wass his bullying of Jeb! and the other candidates.
Trump had one job to accomplish in the early debates; hold onto his core support, which was marginally better than that of others for his visibility. His bullying "hits," as you can now see (you could have before, but refused to) only served to elevate his negatives within the party, making it impossible for him to close out the primary. His nomination at this point ought to be assured, but it's not; he remains the weakest front-runner for his party's nomination any of us have ever seen.

>>70947551
Jeb was and had the highest unfavorables going into the contest. Heck, even Walker rose above him for a time, and he was just a flash in the pan with no organization, just name recognition. Bush never got above 17% at his high point. It was already a settled issue that the voter base didn't want him.

>If Jeb faces off against a field of politicians who play by the rules he comes across as intelligent, well spoken, cool and collected
Are you for real? He was constantly bashed and ridiculed by everyone.

Not to mention "please clap", turtles and all the other stuff he fucked up during his campaign. He dug his own grave. He's just not suitable for the role of presidential candidate.

>>70949126
Well if he's not going to talk about it because he's "afraid it would fuck up his campaign" ,the more he won't do anything about it after becoming president.

Cruz actually openly announced he will attempt to repeal fag marriage.
>>
>>70948679
>You don't get (but that's fine, because few do) that this was positioning. Each of the two were trying to elevate themselves above their competitors with this exchange, and add to the recognition of the candidate they would respectively want to face in the general.

What?Hillary and Sanders were both attacking Trump during that time.

And other republicans were also attacking Hillary and Trump.

Retard, are you a newfag? For a long time there so much "We are past peak Trump, He has a ceiling of 20% it's over"

> he remains the weakest front-runner for his party's nomination any of us have ever seen.

That is because his party doesn't support him and attacks him instead.

Also "the weakest front-runner " is responsible for the highest primary turnout in history.

Now the reality is that Trump has existed in a crowded primary field. So let's keep the discussion there. To pull him out of it and claim everything that's to date happened in the race revolves entirely around Trump's actions is the perspective of the cult.

>Bitch, Clinton even said that Bernie is "too mean" and refused to debate him.
But do you believe it was for the surface reasons given? That would be unfortunate.

Hillary too would like to run out her own clock, because she's confident the remaining state will gift her enough delegates for the nomination. And she doesn't want to spend the whole campaign trying to outflank Bernie from the left, for the longer she's at it the worse will appear her pivot when the general comes.

It's not because she's a wilting flower unable to take Bernie Sander meanness, ffs.

>Bested by the guy he kept trolling and got him to back off multiple times and force him to applaud?Sure, you jest.
You here mock Cruz's debate performances, which flies in the face of the evidence of how Cruz became at this last date Trump's principal opponent.

Jeb got BTFO by Trump in front of the largest cable TV audience in history. Harder than any major political candidate has been in memory. Low energy, accusing Bush of lying about WMDs, refusing to apologize to Jebs wife, calling him a tough guy, an embarrassment, and Jeb just ate it.

And here you are saying Trump didn't have anything to do with throwing Clinton v Bush 2016 totally off the tracks, that "the voters" just blatantly rejected the establishment pick on their own. No way, Jose, start building.

The turtles, the please clap, the "my mom says I'm cool", all of that, it all came AFTER Trump refused to apologize to his wife and called him low energy. The media pounced on it and ran with it ONLY after Trump got the ball rolling.

Jeb Bush was a name that floated in the media for years leading up to this election and it was always "he's the smart Bush" or "he's not evil and stupid like his brother, he did well for Florida". The media was convinced Jeb would be the nominee, ask anyone who had access to American media from January-July 2015.

Eight years ago, when his brother was president in an entirely different political atmosphere.

But let's just ignore all that, because we've got to build up Trump and credit him for everything that happens.
>it's all about the mic drops. I'll ignore that Jeb Bush was unpopular
Come on, now. Bush sat there and stood by things the voter base of the entire party absolutely did not want to hear. That he was for common core. That immigration was an act of love. That he had all manner of experience in government. His wavering on the Iraq War. Trump didn't reach into the man to make him this unpopular, dude. Bush did that all by himself.

>And here you are saying Trump didn't have anything to do with throwing Clinton v Bush 2016 totally off the tracks, that "the voters" just blatantly rejected the establishment pick on their own. No way, Jose, start building.
Well he certainly doesn't have anything to do with the left's attempt to throw the Clinton vs portion of it off the tracks, now, does he? And yet they're trying their damnedest.

Neither of the party's "presumptive" nominees were the people's choice. Only, the Democratic party is more protected from actual democracy owning to their system of superdelegates.

>"he's the smart Bush" or "he's not evil and stupid like his brother, he did well for Florida"
And the others said "we've had enough Bushes", "fuck off with that clan".

The point remains - Jeb was a mess and mistake, uncharismatic and unelectable type of politician. Trump might have some credit here, but majorly - it was Jeb's incompetence.

If you look past just the headlines, all the candidates do this. Hillary has gone after Cruz at times, Rubio at Bernie, ect. It's positioning. The only example you seem to want to remember is that Trump defeated Hillary in wordplay that one week, which is some bizarre take on things straight from Trump's mouth. It's self-serving narrative bullshit. There is no general election, there is a primary. Don't go around repeating it if you want people to take you seriously.

I guess we'll have that talk in July.

And every other state. And much better than Cruz did in his own state btw.

>He should want to showcase his strength at debate, then, which will be an important element to a general election campaign, instead of trying to run out the clock. To put at ease the concerns of those many #NeverTrump voters who question his viability.

No, is better to take Hillary and everybody else by surprise.Let her prepare for the trollmaster and get destroyed well spoken businessman Trump was pre-apprentice.

Sure, I'll concede Trump has more natural strength in the north east. Also that it's close in CA, that there is no polling from WA, that Trump has to get above 50% in NY to avoid leaking delegates and is only around that threshold (which has kept him in the state while Cruz travels elsewhere), and that Cruz is within the margin of error to Clinton in the national race, rather than being blown away by double digits. He was ahead for much of the time after the new year (getting slimed as he has been lately with desperate fake scandals hasn't helped, but that will fade away). I'll also concede that a Trump candidacy puts the south into play, ffs.

People did choose leaders. They chose delegates, who chose the actual delegates. Donald knew about this in August and now is pretending he doesn't, but he thinks you're stupid enough to believe his lies.

Looks like he was right though, so I can't fault him ahahaha

>(which has kept him in the state while Cruz travels elsewhere)

Retard, just yesterday Trump was in PY where he also has a large lead and no reason to worry.

The last few weeks he was staying in NY and not even doing many events despite the the fact that he was about to lose WI.

>and that Cruz is within the margin of error to Clinton in the national race, rather than being blown away by double digits.

Yet he is getting blown by double digits by Trump.

There is a lot of #NeverTrump retradation going on right now, but the left is never gonna vote for Gruz either.

> He was ahead for much of the time after the new year (getting slimed as he has been lately with desperate fake scandals hasn't helped, but that will fade away).

It will fade because Cruz himself is about to fade. But otherwise he was going to get eaten alive in a GE.

No, Cruz is traveling elsewhere because NY despises him.

Your candidate is ahead because GOPe forces have started to rally behind him as a last hope. Trump is beating your guy by 2 million votes. And if the scandals are fake, then why has he not sued the NE?

Get used with Cruz - The GOP establishment is going to kick his ass out the door at the convention, once his usefulness to them is finished.

>why not demand a direct vote

Because you don't get to demand anything. They changed their state party organizational system years ago, and the voters were OK with the change. The change has been well-known for a long time now, and how it worked was also well known. Many states do their own unique primary or caucus system. It's not wrong.

Just because you just found out that Colorado was different doesn't make it wrong.

Why don't you look at these polls?

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/ny/new_york_trump_vs_clinton-5792.html

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/md/maryland_trump_vs_clinton-5859.html

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/pa/pennsylvania_trump_vs_clinton-5633.html

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/ct/connecticut_trump_vs_clinton-5720.html

And yeah, these polls do matter:

>Crucially, Trump's decline has happened just when these polls actually start to mean something. In newer polls, Trump almost never comes close to either Clinton or Sanders anymore. And in past races, changes in general election polling that have occurred during this period of the campaign have often ended up sticking.

>"Were this a few months ago, I'd say, 'What's the big deal?'" says Christopher Wlezien, a political science professor at the University of Texas. "But polls today are much more meaningful than they were 90 days ago. And the polls today are much less favorable for Trump."

>Wlezien is the co-author, with Robert Erikson of Columbia, of The Timeline of Presidential Elections, a political science book that provides an invaluable guide for anyone trying to make sense of polling data.

>The authors found that around 300 days before the election (mid-January), general election polls are essentially meaningless — their predictive value is close to zero. But by the time we get to mid-April of the election year, polls explain about half the variance in the eventual vote split. And mid-April polls have correctly "called" the winner in about two-thirds of the cases since 1952.

>That means that poll changes between January and April have often told us a great deal. "A meaningful portion of changes in preferences during this period tend to stand the test of time and impact the election result," Erikson and Wlezien write.

Are Cruz generals real or do we just make them to make fun of him and his supporters? I don't know what's satire and what's not anymore.
>>
>>70958790
So, let me get this straight, Cruz is going to somehow win the general, a non-party contest of popular votes, with the argument "stealing votes in CO was OK with the GOP".

And how the FUCK do you support Cruz if you hate abortion? Not that it matters, your candidate sure as shit does.
>>
>>70957732
>No, Cruz is traveling elsewhere because NY despises him.
Cruz has a superior ground game and is working the delegate map, targeting specific districts in a variety of states. It's how he'll get to the convention and have a good deal of support in the room.

>Your candidate is ahead because GOPe forces have started to rally behind him as a last hope.
This only happened in like the last couple weeks; when Cruz was beating Clinton fairly regularly, he was battling off others who were similarly positioned who were also advantaged to have tons of money behind him. And whereas some insiders have started to warm up to Cruz as a measure of last resort, the money hasn't really started flowing to him. His campaign is still running on grass roots funding and the few PACs he has lined up behind him.

>Trump is beating your guy by 2 million votes.
This is true, that Trump benefited greatly from cross over votes early in the process. Yet that magnified input into the primary isn't reflective of how general election independents will swing. So while it is a thing Trump can brag over, and there's nothing wrong with him pointing to it, it's kind of an empty stat.

>And if the scandals are fake, then why has he not sued the NE?
That would be a distraction, while the story will die off naturally in time.
