I was given an IQ of 162 when I was tested as a kid, and i'm not, and never was that smart. IQ tests vary by area, by giver, by environment too. Mine, which I still remember clearly, had basic math problems (shit covered by pemdas) and other basic motor skills tests which I passed with flying colors, I was amazed anyone couldn't pass that shit when I heard.
Only recently did I learn that IQ tests aren't standardized. I luckily couldn't afford to do MENSA shit and turn into an elitist fuckslob, but let me tell you this, IQ means jack shit.

No they're really not. There are definitely more kids who've been pushed into studying by their parents, especially by Asian parents. It seems like they're smart because their parents taught them binary and calculus. They'll make great engineers, but they probably won't be great scientists.
