I gave up on these "theories" when I walked into one class period in high school and the teacher said "Scientists recently found that the ice caps are melting faster than ever" and I walked into another class period the same fucking week and the teacher said "Scientist recently found that they're getting larger, if anything" so people can just quote these experiments that had different results whenever it pushes what they personally believe, or just make the experiments up themselves. Neither one of them were even my science teacher.
Also around that time, I got home from school and watched CNN and they actually had a "breaking news" thing that said that they've reduced that month at an alarming rate and that basically, we're all fucked.
