The USS Fort Worth, the third Littoral Combat Ship deployed by the U.S. Navy, suffered “extensive damage” during the botched maintenance procedure in January that’s left the crippled vessel sidelined in Singapore ever since, according to the service’s top weapons buyer.

There was some shooting of protestors but to be fair there were many credible news reports coming from newsgroups in the region that reported that at many of these protests people in the crowd or in nearby buildings fired guns at police before the police ever fired on the crowd and a number of police were killed. In many of those situations the police probably either panicked or tried to fire back at where they saw the shooting come from but ended up hitting regular protestors.

The fact alone that the US has not released the satellite images of the BUK missiles being launched confirms that it was Kiev IMO. The civil war was in full swing then and as the US was backing Kiev they obviously would have had satelittes over Ukraine gathering intel for Kiev. A BUK launch leaves a huge long-lasting contrail stream so sats would have definetly seen that or another plane shooting it down. You know if they had seen rebels launching a BUK at the plane the images would have been on the front of every newspaper but since they never released any images we know it wasn't the rebels.
