Anything gravitational would only happen if they got close in their orbit, since the ninth planet would have an egg shaped orbit it would speed up around the sun and we'd probably get missed. You are overestimating the influence gravity can have especially with bodies around the size of earth and the supposed mass of the ninth one.
Pluto has 0.2% the mass of the earth and the ninth one is supposedly 5000 times more massive then pluto which means it's 1000% more massive then earth and that means it'll have a little less effect on us then Neptune would, and it would have to pass really close to even affect us, our orbit is really fucking large too. The chance is almost nonexistent and by the time it passes again we will be extinct or rule the fucking galaxy.
We are not dealing with fucking jupiter here, it's literally 0.3% the mass of jupiter.
