If he taxes incoming goods wouldn't that be even more of an incentive for domestic companies to move out since components wouldn't cost as much outside the US because you'd have to pay a tariff on every component to whatever you're manufacturing? Moreso what company is going to make a new factory for such components to be made when a future president could just undo that policy?
