Sanders losing New York by more than a couple points means he's fucked
He can get some momentum points if he can make Hillary look like a fool by coming close, but he has to win it. It's going to be the most hyped thing of the whole election cycle on the Democratic side and if he loses, it will finally be too much for his supporters to handle.
If he wins...
Hillary BTFO basically, that's losing her home state. Bernie would finally get the huge momentum boost his campaign needed all along to get off the ground and he would roll through the Northeast into places like Indiana, Kentucky and Pennsylvania which are looking iffy for him right now. And in my opinion he would drub her in California, granted he has big wins going in.
A win in New York will basically create a "two-phase primary" narrative in which Hillary captured momentum in the South but Bernie performs better nearly everywhere else.
The media will go HAM through all of this of course. You'd start to see the same rumblings we're getting now with Trump with the party establishment doing everything in its power to get her the nominations. In fact, I think there might even be riots!
