BTC is capped at 22M if i recall correctly. almost no new bitcoins are being created from mining at this point. mining used to generate new bitcoins. now mining takes a fraction of each btc transaction like the way credit cards work except way cheaper.
all other cryptos are uncapped and creating new coins as people mine. means the supply always outpaces demand and has the effect of diluting the value of that coin while people mine.
super basic economics that makes most coins increasingly worthless as they become more popular.
