Not really, the German military got massively wrecked by Slav T-34 tanks and they also failed to into space at all. Even India has satellites orbiting the moon and mars.
If German engineers were so good and poached by America after the war, why did the US develop nuclear weapons and power plants first, and why did Russia build the first ICBMs and space station?
Why is Germany shit at computer hardware and software? US has AMD, Intel, nVidia, IBM, Microsoft, Apple, plus almost all the Web 2.0 companies and relevant software companies. Even China, Japan, Korea have more hi-tech firms and build better electronic hardware.
Preferential market access (to US markets) and the Marshall plan are the only reasons why Germany still has chemical and automotive industries. Like England, all of that will be stripped out, financialized, and collapse as Germany's demographics deteriorate.
