If they killed him at this point it'd be a huge ruckus, and it wouldn't really matter all that much considering the vast landscape of other people like him are out there to turn toward, and how he's built up his thing to be pretty much able to run itself.
But in my experience, if you want to try to verify everything he says down to the letter, you'll have a hard time of it. He's one of the worse hosts around in that regard, but he's basically in the right direction and it's a good exercise to try anyway.

If he weren't doing his own advertising for his own product offered by his own company, the lack of obvious shilling would be indicative of a third party financier who may or may be interested in influencing the content, but at the very least, surely has hard limits on the types of content they are willing to tolerate.

I take about <50% of what he says with a yuuge grain of salt, but it's pretty clear to me that he is honest to himself and his viewers, and that his intentions are not only pure, but righteous.
