I've been a die hard Trump supporter for some time now. I've read 2 of his books, and have converted 10+ people to trump supporters.
I tried to to go to his rally today in Wisconsin, but got turned away at the doors. I pre-ordered (free) tickets, and showed up 3 hours early, but didn't get in. He booked a venue for 1500 people, but 10,000+ people showed up. When the police told us we weren't getting in the line was easily 3/4 of a mile long behind us.
I literally ordered and confirmed my tickets 13 minutes after they were made available, and yet I couldn't get in to to see the rally. I was there with a group of 7 people (who all had tickets,) and we got turned away after waiting in 36 degree weather for 3 hours. I really feel let down at this point.

The problem is it only seems like snobbery to the people who don't agree with you. You completely dismiss the politics of those who came before Trump as neo-con jewery or cuckservatism and throw free trade out as some lofty ideal, where nationalism is the obvious solution.
This is of course correct, but Trump isn't even against free trade. All things being equal, free trade is the greatest economic system to date, the problem is that it can't compete with countries participating in near-slave labor and currency manipulation.
