Both left and right cater to government bureaucracy, they are rather big voting block. Generally the problem in Finnish welfare system is the fact that there almost zero point for unemployed get a job unless it at least for month as they will lose as much from their benefits as they earn if they get part time job or do short temporary job. Benefit from working is paying travel costs and having less money for food.
There needs to be a permanent solution to that get labor market more functional. Mass unemployment is a permanent part of life in almost all developed economies.
If we get back to system with absolutely no social security.... it will be civil war 2.0. Whites won it battlefield, social democrats accepted market economy and almost all red demands were met before WWII.
