I'm legit concerned that Trump's campaign is not going very well. Yeah, he's first by a mile in the primaries. But, he's in a stalemate when it comes to delegates, he may win enough, he may not, and if he doesn't he'll face opposition like we haven't seen in a long, long time. Two, by drifting into GOP primary politics, he's made himself unpalatable to the general electorate. Of course, a minimum of 40% will vote for Trump. But how does he get above 50 now, when more than a majority say they have a VERY negative opinion of him? (not just negative, very negative, that's much harder to budge). I have confidence in the Donald, I know he can rebound, but we shouldn't underestimate the depth of the "narrative".
I've seen it happen with Stephen Harper, the former PM of Canada. He was spoken of as a nazi, hated by the left, but managed to win on the back of his base's distrust of the media, and bring in new voters, but then the narrative took over. The media played a decade-long game, seemed to lose, but then won in the end, because regular Joes and Janes who don't follow politics came to believe that Harper was essentially a nazi compared to the fresh new so open and tolerant prince that came along.
I'm afraid to see a repeat of that with Trump. Most normies actually don't like controversy and prefer stability, they'll vote for Clinton, who they may disagree with but LOOKS more level-headed and middle of the road. Don't underestimate the cuck level of the general population.
