Mortal sins are the ones u should look out for. You can ask for forgiveness to the person you wronged or offer to make it up to them. Oh, I can abstain from masturbation. I did it for years with only one or two lapses, actually.

But those thoughts are still sinful. No matter what I try, be it completely avoiding porn, prayer, steeling my will, they're still with me. This has just pushed me over the edge into full hedonism as far as masturbation is concerned. God made me this way and I'm constantly stuck with this sin and He refuses to take it away from me.

Stay well clear of /b/. Block porn websites on your computer. When you find yourself thinking lustfully, get up, and take a walk outside. Or pick up a book and read. There are passages in the Bible that address these issues. But at the very least if you're feeling like you are about to watch porn, get away from your computer for a bit.

Oh and keep on praying and have an open mind that the Holy Spirit is dwelling with you and continually works in your heart to make you a more Holy person.

Perhaps you should look more at why you are trying to find theological loopholes to justify your behaviours
