While every school has its shitty teachers, many of the problems in the education system can be ascribed to the government or to administration. I have a number of students who are failing my class. They have been failing my class pretty much all year. They are going to go to seventh grade anyway.
This is not my choice. I do not have a say in the matter. They should repeat the grade, but they won't because the administration is trying to force kids through. It costs more funds to have them stay back. Summer school? Fuck that. We haven't had summer school in ages.
