Don't go, the venue they're playing at prolly hired a promoter who gets a cut to advertise the event, the bands probably get remainder of the ticket money after so many are bought and the venue/promoter gets what they need. It's giving the kid an audience, giving the venue business, and potentially strengthening his ability to get future gigs as well as putting money in his pocket. If you heckle you'll just get thrown out and they keep the ticket money. There is zero reason to go. The music sucks
