I also think the pilot got disoriented at the end and was reasonably psyched out, thinking he was climbing when he was really still declining, s he cut power until he was too late , tried to start again, pulled up with reapplied power, was close enough to the ground he though he could make it, so he cut power again and lowered altitude, and maybe stalled out or had more bad wind and stalled out completely
there were definitely strong winds out of the west, and lower to the ground possibly out of the south west
again, those clouds were blowing through hence the maneuvering

From the pictures you've shown us, I'm going to conclude that the pilot was having a hard time landing because of the clouds and strong winds.
Tried to make two attempts at landing but on the second one, he went too low and then realized he couldn't land because of strong winds on the tarmack. Tried to rise up but did it too fast so he stalled, crashing the plane.
