Is this some progressive leftist bullshit or a right wingers protest? I know it's a corruption protest but are the people out protesting calling for more leftist policies or more right wing policies?

it's extreme right wing protesting, they use the yellow and green soccer team tshirt.

the left wing (also actual government party) wear red, and their rally is due to friday 18th.
>>
commies have been in power for 16 years and the corruption is at an absolutely ridiculous level right now, even for latin america standards

it's really just general dissatisfaction with government rather than a specific party or political position, but obviously directed at the left atm because that's what the government is

and i'm not exaggerating when i say commies, the boss man was a union leader, the party name is 'worker's party' and their symbol is a red star
>>
>>67753017
>Commies
I don't know a lot about your government but I'm pretty sure that they aren't commies
>>

Lula, Fidel and etc are as communist as one can be.
>>

1940-1964 and 1980-2016

We never had a true right wing, man.
>>
the "foro de São Paulo" stuff seems like bullshit but it's slowly used to fill up the left wing agenda
>>
>>67754026
So who will get power if the government falls? Leftist cucks or right wingers?
>>
>>67755486
Moderate left or another public vote for a change of regime.
>>

moderated leftists
>>

It is a protest performed by everyone that is more to the right than Dilma. So yes, a right wing protest.

government wont fall. the rich and the media being dissatisfied is not enough for an impeachment.

people in the protest are just angry sheeps letting their emotions out. if u ask anyone in the protest 'who u want to rule the country?' they wouldnt know how to answer
>>
>>67750706

There's no right wing in Brazil.
People here:

> Muuh equality
> Muuh democracy
>>
>>67752835
>>67753449
not really, it's pretty much all around, but there is some left wingers that still support the government even though it pretty much got fully exposed on it's bullshit yesterday
>>
>>67759421
no chance

the only people who ask for a military goverment in brazil are the kids who spend their whole day playing league of legends and fapping to hentai, basicly useless spoiled losers
>>
>>67755486
Since both the government and the opposition are involved on a huge corruption scandal (as well as everyone on the presidential succession line) probaly the third way will get to win the probable new elections.

And by third way I mean Bolsonaro, a guy that is as right wing as it gets.

YES, they are being this obvious about tatics.
>>
>>67761527
I dont know what a military government would resemble in USA

but here in brazil, a military dictatorship would be more corrupt than the actual government, as it was in the past

and the only people who would support it in here are pathetic creatures who think 'if the media doesnt show any corruption, then there's no corruption' and behave as if the PT government was the first corrupt we ever had

its hard to believe people could be so dumb, but some are.

That's what I'm saying, Brazilians don't care. Even upper class Brazilians. Where we live in Goias, we're seeing constant disorder and crumbling infrastructure, people pay twice for schools, once in taxes and again in private schools. Every one of them responds to the lack of freedom argument with, "Do you think you're free now?"
>>
>>67762616
What I'm saying is that they've accepted corruption as a way of life, now they're just looking for the corrupt government that works the best, and that's obviously a military junta.

No fucking way, literally only kids would want the military to take power. I'm serious, the military dictatorship here in brazil was considered one of the worst things to happen in its history.

And if we are free, now, the answer is yes. If all these protests were happening during military dictatorship, chances are that the military would literally raze the fuckers and media wouldn't be able to say a single word.

They constructed all infrastructure. They were very respectful, the only elite which not stolen our money. They included poors in economy giving them jobs. The problem is all Brazilian books are written by commies, and fags and sjws. Vai tomar fabianos de merda.
>>

I am not going to say that there aren't people who wants military dictatorship, but they are a minority, just like only kids would want anarchy.

>>
>>67763219
>>67763296
the worst characteristic our people have is how self-defeating we are. i mean, most are, not all.

belief is the first step for changing, in every aspect of life. everything happens first in our toughts then into the real world.

if people went to streets to protest for a reform in the law, to strip down politicians super-powers (foro privilegiado, etc), to make laws more clear so that we could have faster investigations and judgements for instance, those things would make a huge impact in our country.

but first people need to believe things can change and then look for useful, smart options that can create a real impact in our situation.

atm people are just blind with anger, hating on PT but what an impeachment would really give us? what result would we really achieve?
>>
>>67765012
An impeachment would result in removing one corrupt scumbag from power to be replaced with yet another corrupt scumbag. This is independent of party affiliation, and it crosses generations, occupations, and social classes.

Really the only government I would trust for Brazil is a military government. My father in law was in the military during the junta and it fucked him up bad, you would need to have a lot better veterans services. Beyond that, Brazil would get stronger, doors would open to commerce and trade and the average Brazilian would have a lot more to spend because they wouldn't have to pay twice for essential services like education and healthcare.

Brazilians have proven time and time again that the only government that doesn't fuck the people over and suck up all the profit is a fascist government, why not embrace that?
>>
BIG GUY government when?
>>
>>67765012
Gee, I don't know, a little of moral effect to ACTUALLY change something? Maybe just enough moral effect to believe things can actually change?

jesus christ, that might actually be worse than the cucks here and rugby.

>>
>>67765615
the situation will only change for the better when people fight for things that actually can create a positive impact.

protesting to change a corrupt party for another corrupt party isn't it. protesting for a law reform to make it faster investigations and judgements and less protective of the politicians is. (just an example)

>>
>>67759819
>they wouldnt know how to answer
of course not, all out politicians suck orcish balls.
>>
The truth is that the general populace doesn't give a shit about politics, the recent "protests" were nothing but parties, an unscheduled carnaval, just another excuse to drink beer.

If nothing happened after this hugely corrupt tapped phone call then nothing ever will, the best you can expect is Dilma getting impeached in a few months but then just another corrupt thief will take her place like always.
>>
>>67766933
This.

Brazil doesn't have any (decent) right wing politicians, so people "protest" against a corrupt government without having faith something is actually going to change. They don't have other options to choose. Imagine if America had only the Democratic Party and their leftist counterparts, and the whole Democratic Party were corrupt. If corruption reached an obvious level as it reached in Brazil (50 BILLIONS) you would protest too, but you would not reaaly have any faith things were going to get better.

well, i'll keep believing that one day people will realize that the problem isn't the one or two politicians, the problem is the system that makes it so easy to steal from us and to get away with it, due to how slow and inefficient our laws are. i hope one day people make a protest about this sort of stuff. id gladly join. until then...
>>
>>67767625
The people here are corrupt, not just politicians, everyone has this same mentality of not giving a shit about laws "if it doesn't hurt anyone". Nothing will happen while the whole population of our country is like that.

People in power are corrupted by blood, this is not only Brazil, but entire South America problem.

Despite american comments, Bernie, in his essence, is actually a social democrat, very similar to many "right wingers" in the EU. The very idea of any kind of funding of the health or education systems is something very alien to them.

Provided Jewma falls, is there a chance that the neighbors left cucks would invade us?

If so, would the US invade us to help us re-democratize everything?

As a matter of fact, fuck that shit, just invade us right now, show us the path to freedom and rightness. Bring a (white) English speaking president so maybe you can teach ignorants a real language as well.

People are just mad at Lula because his party has been running this country for too long, and therefore, their parties don't have much room to rob and steal aswell.

All this uproar against Lula is simply happening because he announced his presidency, and they are scared they will have to spend more four-eight years unable to rob.

Think about it. You'd turn on the TV, it was all about Dilma, Lava-Jato and PT. Suddenly, Lula announces he wants to run for presidency, and what happens? He gets prosecuted, his phone lines are bugged, we have helicopters monitoring his every step, TV won't talk about anything but Lula. Why didn't that happened before? Why go for such a corrupt politican only after he announces his wishes to run for presidency?

Nobody is interested in fighting corruption. They want to fight Lula and PT, just so that other parties can finally land Presidency and rob as they please.

Yes, the population is just mad that their chosen one aren't the one stealing them. Everyone should just make their campaigns around their way of robbery since that's what the population wants.

>Lula has been talking about running president again for years.

He never stated that, it was nothing but speculation from everyone. After he specifically stated that he would run for Presidency, on 27th of February, that's when the witch hunt began.

If Lula was so crooked and dirty, why weren't we hunting him before?

We have a politically neutral 'Governor General' position that is a ceremonial position which is filled by someone approved by the queen and of course sits above the Government and has the power to dismiss a government in times of crisis and order another snap election.

In the 1970s we had a bad left government that stopped governing properly and the Governor General instantly dissolved parliament and called a snap election.

Does Brazil not have something similar to this?

Because lava-jato started just two years ago investigating some "small" event completely unrelated to him. Because only just before lava-jato the MP got investigation rights, and delação premiada was regulated, which was part of why other operations like operação castelo de areia failed even though they were on the same track.
>>
you know the country is fucked when the only good politician is a fucking clown, literally a fucking clown
>>
>>67775392
Everyone and their mother knew Dilma's government was supposed to be an 8-year transition to another Lula mandate. Also, your theory that an witch-hunt started as soon as he officially stated what we all already knew is preposterous. Lava-jato has been going on since 2014, but the delations that connected him to the triplex condo just came up in late-2015/early-2016. If you actually made a google search before spouting your uninformed opinions you could see several articles on the ongoing investigation on him from January, way earlier that the February 27th announcement.
