>>
>>67679412
OY VEY THEY CANT LEAVE THINK OF THE SHEKELS
>>
>>67680822
It's a serious answer.

It depends on whether or not you care about your political representation, the sovereignty of the country, the performance of other economic sectors and the continued existence of the UK.

The fact is that it will not be any worse for you if we left the EU and it could potentially be slightly better, slightly less for the average person. Depending on your sector, it might improve things more than that. We need to know where you work and how you work.

However it's not just about whether you're better off or not. It's about what political system you want to live in, about who you want to govern you, about whether you care about being represented democratically, about whether you can remove those above you democratically and about who you think you are and what society you live in.

company in construction. Theres just quite a few headaches that Id need to get round. We buy alot of materials from a company with a head office in belgium, would they just move their head office to the UK? We would have zero input on BS EN regs (I know we have little input as it is). Would we just develop our own regs seperate from Europe?
I agree that we should leave to dictate our own tax, our company will be forced to tax 20% on renewable technology rather than 5% because europe think its unfair. Kind of lose business to some people that way

2 points, it's easier for EU people to come in compared to others, i'd rather a highly qualified aussie come in, rather that than choosing some crappy french doctor that is only chosen due to the easier route available...

Secondly our 'official' numbers that are said to come in as a net increase are about 1 million, however our national insurance numbers (issued at birth, allow you to work etc) had almost an 1.8 million increase instead (clearly there are unknown's in the country not reported, not counting ones not on the system, germany alone should understand this point...

Pretty much all the latest polls are against you, the leave camp is starting to pull ahead.

A couple of months ago, I would've believed you, but we're just two months away and the polls are shifting in favour of brexit. I don't doubt that it's going to be close, but a remain lead at this point in the game is pretty important. This is without even mentioning turnout, which will also work in favour of brexit.

The remain campaign looks tired and uninspiring right now, and I don't see them gaining any traction over the next two months, but we'll see. Overall I'm pretty convinced of a leave vote right now, despite being skeptical until recently.

Guys!! I'm talking to americans, they're the most vocal group of people opposing the Brexit. Like WTF!!

I know everyone should have an opinion, but i talked to an american, and they were like " British people want to be on welfare, and migrants are actually helping the economy."

>don't talk about britain as if you know them, I lived there, I'm married to a brit.

I pretty much rekt them, but now all i get is "see GDP data hurr durr."

-Yes, but not exclusively

>>Do you believe European immigrants from Poland, Romania and Bulgaria are of lower quality than native English workers without jobs?

-Yes, but not entirely. Remember, these migrants were often unemployed in their own countries, this means they are typically less skilled than most people in their native countries.

Nuanced understanding? You mean like the 'nuanced understanding' of trying to trick people into thinking the EU has been reformed when we haven't even got a binding agreement that gives up our veto and otherwise lets things remain somewhat as they are, until the next EU treaty?
>>
>>67688180

Don't you think people will feel uncomfortable looking at anything UKIP related when we have left the EU and nothing on the ground has actually changed?
>>
>>67686134

Yes

Absolutely

Yes, but even if not I want them to fuck off- actually the Poles are alrite but the Romanians and Bulgarians need to go

I don't care, they're not Brits so they shouldn't be here- whether they're good workers is irrelevant- and no I don't think they're "better" than Brits. The "lazy, sloth jeremy kyle Brit" is a meme forced by the establishment to justify the high immigration

I believe immigration and health tourism from other countries definitely puts a strain on the NHS. I've seen it at my local A and E and GP where 80% of the patients are not British.
>>
>>67688672

This is the fundamental problem with all politics. The problem I'm alluding to is that people actually do trust Farage. He worked in the city, he's never said ONE SINGLE WORD about the bailout, he's been talking about the economy for years, he blames Europe for everything and PEOPLE REALLY TRUST HIM. It's absurd.

The US used to be your colony too so I can understand his sentiment.
>>
>>67688784
UKIP aren't promising a utopia or a land of milk and honey if we leave the EU. They just want to restore national sovereignty and depart from the EU project before it becomes impossible to do so. UKIP generally represents a centre-right, pro-liberty, conservative viewpoint that is still has supporters today.
>>
>>67688970

Then why don't they ever talk about how Westminster has taken away more of our liberty than the EU?

You have more liberty as an EU citizen, simple as. Some countries will let you have firearms, some countries will even let you have free speech, some countries won't check your 100 year criminal record for a minimum wage job. Britain's government is complete shit and only a conman wouldn't have brought that up in any political career that lasted more than 5 minutes.

If I can have a Vepr 12 with 20 round drum magazines or a Ruger 10/22 with a 110 round drum magazine, or hell, a long barreled 1911 with a 15 round magazine, or a short barrelled muzzle loading revolver, what danger is there in a .22lr target pistol that isn't present in the other stuff?) as well as called for reduced duties, end to hate speech legislation, freedom of speech and the press and less restrictions on trade and business.

>>67689304
This would be the same EU that is planning to make criticising the EU an offence? Notice how almost all of the totalitarian legislation of the last 20 years has been passed by pro-EU politicians.

>>

>>
>>67688945

>implying tha's not exactly what the tories did

They blamed Labour for the shitty economy after the crash and got into power.

>You have more liberty as an EU citizen, simple as

How is it "liberty" if you can't elect your own politicians. Is Westminster perfect? No, but the point is they'll be ACCOUNTABLE to the British electorate- something the Brussels bureaucrats never will be. Britain has no influence in the EU- point me to one examples where Britain has objected to something or wanted to change it and hasn't been overruled by the other 28 countries. Camerons "deal" proved how little Britain influences Brussels.

>Could it be that you share Brexit sentiment because the entire campaign is based on memes and not nuanced understanding and fact?

UK ruled us for several years. If anything I know second hand how it is to be ruled by another country, where rules are being made without asking you.

the UK joined an economical union, and that's what it should have been. now they're increasingly meddling into UK affairs. Why would someone in their right mind want to give up their sovereignty?

>inb4 no one said we're giving up our sovereignty.

Sure thing mate.

The UK first came as peaceful traders, and then they started to meddle into our affairs, and before we knew the whole country was under their control. How dumb can you be to not see what EU is doing? I hold no grudge towards the UK but for fucks sake when I see dumb faggots like you, it boils my blood. At least we fought.

If you're a true Brit you'd vote to exit. If you want to stay you're probably a migrant who wants to leech on the facilities that UK provides.

It depends. If it honestly was truly reformed and either was better than being independent or was not at risk of damaging national sovereignty, then yes, it would be better.

As it currently stands, the question is whether you want Britain to be dissolved and become part of the current EU leadership's plans for a Federal USE. Reform is impossible at the moment. In fact, Britain would have a better chance of affecting reform by LEAVING then by staying in.

Essentially this. Pro-EU politicians have undermined essential English and British liberties. Blair, Brown and Mandelson, the three responsible for how Britain currently is today, were all rampant Europhiles who wanted to bring this country closer to the EU. Cameron and Clegg shared their vision.

There are no good options here. 1. I'm loyal to British government because for hundreds of years it was very good at protecting rights and freedoms, was a system that developed organically and works very well to this day; the problems arise when you abandon key parts of it (as people have in order to force their agendas through). I'm also loyal to it because we can choose to remove it if we want. We can vote out a government. We can vote in a republican party if we wanted to abolish the Monarchy, and then we could vote in a monarchist party if we wanted to re-establish it. We cannot do that in the EU where we are only 8% of the EU parliament which cannot even restrict what the Commission does. This 8% by the way, will shrink even lower by 2020.

2. The US Gold Standard is OUR Standard. It's just the rights of an average Englishman iat the time put down on paper and assured by a constitution. Instead of giving up our systems and going over to Continentialist style policies, we should look to the past for our rights and freedoms while keeping those not covered in the past (the very few that are). In addition, you say time and time again that if Europe can be reformed. It CANNOT be reformed as it currently is and Britain's continual membership in it will not bring about the reform you seek.

Yeah and this is what the current head of the European commission said about Germany: “For me, the new Germany exists only in order to ensure the existence of the State of Israel and the Jewish people.”- Martin Schulz

These are the kind of traitorous kikes that run the EU and dictate its policy.

>>67690469

Well then move somewhere else if you don't like it here. I think the thing though is that we'll always be able to change our politicians and government with regular elections. You have to think beyond the current Tories. Are you really gonna say to your grandkids in 50 years "oh, I threw away our liberty and democracy because I was scared of the meany tories and cameron"- imo that's very very short sighted. We can always change our government but if we stay in the EU we'll never get out- that's it. More eastern euro countries will join- Turkey eventually- and the UK will disappear into a wasteland on the edge of the united states of Europe.

I will say it ain't so. What we have are institutions that are driven towards globalism and integration with Europe, who refuse to teach British history, who refuse to promote British institutions and standards. Why would a Slovakian or a Pole care about Britain? Because he's white? Plenty of people are white and I wouldn't call them my countryman just because they're white. You're seeing things far too bluntly.

Things have atrophied, yes, but that's due to deliberate mismanagement to promote European identity and discourage British identity.

Point to where in the last 300 years of British history there is an equivalent. The closest thing we have to it is the Highland Clearances which don't even come close and were done largely by local landlords with the support of Scottish troops.
