My dad lives in Sydney and has a cable connection and get's 20Mbps, whereas where I work has FTTP and gets at least 140Mbps

The issue with online gaming in Australia is that Australia is mostly full of normies who don't play video games so finding servers/games for anything competitive is utterly pointless. Most normies stop playing online games in Australia by age 16-18 where as in other parts of the world like North America and Europe and Asia they don't seem to ever stop.
