As a Social Worker I come in contact with them on a daily basis, there's stories of success and stories of failure. A lot of the successful ones are either Muslims with a higher education or those who really have the drive to integrate and contribute to our country. There's people there who absolutely have no desire to either contribute or adapt to our society. I've participated with plenty of christian associations through my life. I have friends who have a strong faith and go on processions carrying Jesus' cross. There's two reasons : (1) they do not believe that ISIS serves the interest of Islam as a movement, which is part of the official gripe they have with them and (2) they do not recognize it as a legit Kaliphate.
