The second group are republicans who are undecided or voting for Cruz or Kasich but are also loyal to the Republican party. As Trump is the presumptive nominee these voters will also begin to coalesce around Trump as they begin to desire an end to the primary season, lest a drawn out primary season weaken the Republican party's chances to win the election.
Cruz could have only won if Rubio had dropped before Super Tuesday and his voters coalesced around Cruz to enable him to win half or so of the states, which would have tipped others in Cruz's favor as Cruz would be as likely as Trump to win. At the current point in time Cruz losing a war of attrition and denying the inevitable- there is no way Trump will not have over 50% of Republican voters according to the polls by at least late April or a month from now. The GOPe will not deny someone who has the majority support of the party the nomination- they will not be able to justify it to the voters and their party will collapse. Cruz has no chance.
