States that Trump will make WTA are New York and Connecticut
States that are direct election that Trump will likely sweep and make WTA are West Virginia
The four proportional states together are Rhode Island, New Mexico, Washington and Oregon and Trump would have 45 delegates if he won 40% of the vote in these combined
Assuming he gets the same share of delegates in California as he did in Illinois since he is polling about the same there he'd get 139 delegates from California. Assuming a slightly lower share of 3/4 he'd have 129 delegates.
In total he'd have 1261 or 1271 depending on whether he got those 10 delegates from California. In addition he could win Wisconsin which would put him up at 1303 or 1313 delegates. If he won all of California and Wisconsin he'd end up with 1346 delegates.
I'm trying to figure out how you end up with this "hair's breadth" number because the states you've allocated should have Trump winning the nomination.
