Does /pol/ know about Vladislav Surkov? He is one of the head advisors throughout the history of the Putin regime. He is a Machiavelli type figure whose primary interest is in social control and manipulation/deception. He is an enthusiast of liberal art, goth rock, poetry, fashion, and funds all forms of political movements (from the nationalist youth movements to antifa to centrist groups, you get the picture) on all sides.

>With a flourish he sponsored lavish arts festivals for the most provocative modern artists in Moscow, then supported Orthodox fundamentalists, dressed all in black and carrying crosses, who in turn attacked the modern-art exhibitions.

>The Kremlin’s idea is to own all forms of political discourse, to not let any independent movements develop outside of its walls. Its Moscow can feel like an oligarchy in the morning and a democracy in the afternoon, a monarchy for dinner and a totalitarian state by bedtime.

Have Soviet style divide and conquer tactics become the prevailing and dominant theory of social control for all states? Look how Soros funds opposite sides of movements all over the place, etc.

>But the Gray Cardinal is most revered domestically for his creation of the theory of “Sovereign Democracy.” First explicated in 2006, the underlying belief is a reiteration of the principles of the Treaty of Westphalia, with Surkov stating to the Western press that Russia is democratic and that this must be accepted. It was not so much a theory as it was a message – Russia’s political elite will manage its democracy as it sees fit and shall not be interfered with. In his view, all democracies are managed according to their political mores and Russia is no different in this respect – democracy is a relative concept. Russian culture is consequently at the core of policy, everything else is just packaged to suit the political system of the day. To many of Russia’s elite who have lived through so much political transition over the last 25 years, “everything is PR.”

Being nonsecretive is part of his stated strategy. He has even authored books basically admitting to being a sociopath who is manipulating everybody for his own gain, this is just part of his theory of demoralization and fear induction. The narrative is incoherent to the everyday person. He will fund both sides of a conflict and then admit it on TV, then they move on to the next topic. You can't trust anything, the punk rock band down the street is just on his payroll, but so are the christians outside protesting it. It's like a stage theater. The percentage of people who can even comprehend this kind of thing is so low as to not matter at all.

Not all relevant information is hidden forever in shadows, it's practically impossible these days to orchestrate that kind of thing. Systems of power just adapt to the new conditions
>>
>>68144046
Well, as I know hes not the head figure, but atleast he created RT.
>>
>>68144813
Yeah, well, there are more complicated domestic politics and a lot of "old fashioned" traditional sorts of power brokers in Russia who would see Surkov as a snot nosed punk but his success and strategies within his own scope of not insignificant power represent one path Russia or any state with at least a front of democracy can take.

This is how the jews oppress the white peoples of Europe into accepting their own demise through massmigration and racemixing.

>There is something cherubic in Surkov’s soft, smooth face, something demonic in his stare. He trained as a theatre director then became a PR man; now his official role is ‘vice-head of the presidential administration’, but his influence over Russian politics is unsurpassed. He is the man behind the concept of ‘sovereign democracy’, in which democratic institutions are maintained without any democratic freedoms, the man who has turned television into a kitsch Putin-worshipping propaganda machine and launched pro-Kremlin youth groups happy to compare themselves to the Hitler Youth, to beat up foreigners and opposition journalists, and burn ‘unpatriotic’ books on Red Square. But this is only half the story.

>In his spare time Surkov writes essays on conceptual art and lyrics for rock groups. He’s an aficionado of gangsta rap: there’s a picture of Tupac on his desk, next to the picture of Putin.

>Like the Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels, Mr. Surkov is not overconcerned about facts. Emotions are at the core of the Kremlin’s message; indeed, they are the tie that binds Mr. Putin to his subjects. This is why Mr. Surkov portrays Mr. Putin, who recently divorced his wife of 30 years and is rumoured to have fathered several children with a former Olympic gymnast, as an avatar of conservative values, with the Orthodox Patriarch constantly at his side.

Why are you posting this on /pol/?
You won't get any actual conversation here, just memes
>>
>>68147119
If even one person decides to stop memeing for a moment and consider something seriously, then I'm happy about that.

And where else is there to go? Anywhere you encounter serious people is overridden with sjw hug police
>>
>>68147119
is there a place where we can have discussions on these kinds of things?

I don't see the point for discussion. The means is irrelevant, it's towards what end something is working towards that attributes morals to it. In terms of geopolitics, Russia is weakening ''The West'', and ''The West'' is primarily responsible for the situation that our countries finds themselves in, so a strong russian state that can continue along the path it has been on for the past decade is only a positive, from the perspective of many of the people on /pol/.

Surkovs methods are by the way not unique to the russian state, this is employed by all the western governments aswell. The idea is to, like was posted here >>68144884 , the idea is to keep the plebs (90%+ of the population) so confused they have no idea what's going on, and they'll vote for whoever the media tells them to. ''VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT THE SWEDEN DEMOCRATS, OR YOU'RE A RACIST!'', ''VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT FRONT NATIONAL, OR YOU'RE A RACIST!'' etc. .

The methods shouldn't be cause for discussion, but rather what type of state employs such methods to keep the population voting in a certain pattern, and what that state seeks to achieve.

Isn't this basically his "asymmetrical warfare"?
>>
>>68149362
''Hybrid warfare'' meme-term is used by western journalists in jewish owned newspapers to sound smart and blame whatever happened in that country recently on Russia.

For example, a lone hacker threatened swedish jewish-owned media recently (Bonner & Schibstedt family owned newspapers), and threatened to DDOS attack their websites, which he did.

As soon as the websites were up again, all of them started accusing Russia of ''hybrid warfare'' and ''russian aggression'' just because most of the traffic came from Russia, they immediately blamed the russian state for it, conveniently ignoring the threats made by that hacker publicly.
>>
>>68150132

It's a real doctrine though, or a concept that at least has a significant basis in reality, sort of like "blitzkrieg" during the Second World War.

You can actually find really interesting conversations with intelligent people on /pol/ if you know where to look and have the patience to wade through the shitposting, memes, and banter.
