This angered all of the Chinese internet and government who banned all of her entertainment companies contracts, appearances, and removed all content from music sites etc.
The Company she worked for stock dropped a lot and other problems happened with an immense chinese internet backlash against the 16 year old girl.
In the end the korean company, which relies on chinese market for a lot of revenue, made her apologize in a video for holding a taiwan flag instead of Chinese flag. With Chinese angry that Taiwan wants to be independent.
The video already has about 2 million views and 80,000 comments.
