Being able to move in and out of work easily is actually a really good thing, but an overarching socialist system is bad of course.

One good example of where a socialist system can be used as a base for fairer capitalism is to have a rule that a job can have a minimum wage lower than normal, but that job has to have no entry requirements; so some homeless uneducated ex-convict can get in.

That way, you create more jobs and they're jobs so open that you could just walk in at the start of the day then walk out at the end with a handful of cash, but wages and availability of all but the most menial jobs are unaffected.

Idiots, just because the system can work doesn't mean we should use it. We'd miss out on so much in the international market by changing.
>>
>>67762163
To be honest the international market has kind of screwed us over.
John Key selling us out to the global market is a regular occurence, and we have very little local manufacture and have to pay a fortune for basically anything.
I'd love a part-time metalworking job but sadly they just aren't common enough, and a lot of stuff I want for /diy/ projects is insanely expensive here.

True, that's more a weak leadership issue I'd say.

And where do you live? In Auckland I'm drowning in Welding jobs.

Wellington.
And there should total be a campaign for a strong leader.
I've got this idea that just giving a leader the right theme could make them very strong by making them unapologetic.
For example, if Nathan Explosion were Prime Minister, no one would expect him to handle things delicately; that's something for him to delegate to his minions. He's expected to just plough on and be awesome.

Mate unless you're a Barista there ain't jobs in Wellington.

And I'd prefer we just select a random person to lead for a year at a time with a disintegration of the party system, be both fun and we'd actually have MP's doing constructive shit.
>>

Oh come on, never watched Parliament TV or been to a Parliament meeting?
Even with half of the seats controlled by one party and most of the rest by another, people still shout over each other!
Anyway, gotta sleep love, nighty night!

What does this codespeak mean exactly?

It's commie speak in which no one would have to work, we already have this issue enough as it is as people go onto welfare here without any intention of finding work. We will literally breed parasites at such a rate, we won't be able to sustain these leeches. What happened to common sense with these closet commie cvcks? America, if Trump gets into power and Labourcvcks somehow win you need to liberate us.
>>

The issue is that the Labour party are losing by a large margin in every single way mainly because New Zealand is in a good place with only a few socialist NEETS complaining that there neetbux aren't enough to sustain their degenerate lifestyle. Because of this the commies have become openly socialist and radical in their policy making - offering free university for the first 3 years, basic income.. what next? Mass-migration? These people within the party have never held a real job in their life and every business Mr Little has attempted - including consulting - has failed.
>>
>>67765487

Mass migration to NZ? I doubt it thanks to geography

Universal basic income is an interesting idea and I would like to see how it works in Canada, maybe it will stimulate demand and increase cash velocity in the economy?

Anyhoo I think UBI is inevitable so it's going to happen anyway in the future
>>
Hahahahahahahaha totally going to fucking fly over there every now and then and collect that shit.
>>

>guaranteed basic income

Sure, but step one is eliminating the private ownership of capital, correct? You'll never achieve positive reforms in the long run if capitalism and its power structures continue to exist. And concessions only dilute the revolutionary spirit of the people.

Don't change your flag, please.
My family live in NZ; Upper Hutt.
Please don't change your flag. I love NZ, and wanted to move there as I have a good job; I'm a doctor and it would be easy to move. But I like England too much. My nephew is training to be a police officer in NZ. I'm so proud of him.
I miss my family.
