Never did giving people cold hard facts worked and it will never work in the future. Everything is a show, where you fight to pull out specific emotions from to population based on current events that you build upon. Sadly, that involves mixing truth with nicely wrapped bits of lies or information that's not quite on point with the subject, but carefully showed to make it look like it fits. That clip is a great example.
