Humanity has known about the Earth being flat for thousands of years, but in 2015 most people still believe in the Spherical Jew.

The Earth is a flat circular plane much the a dinner plate, with the North pole in it's center and Antarctica surrounding much of the edges. Governments prevent the public from viewing the edge of the Earth by restricting our access to Antarctica.

Gravity doesn't exist, the moon and the sun orbit the Earth due to electromagnetic forces. When pilots think they are flying around the world they are really just flying in a circle around the North pole at the Earth's center. Using trigonometry we can measure the Sun's distance from the Earth as being approximately 30,000 kilometers away. The reason that it can be night time in London while it is daylight in Sydney is that the Sun shines down in a beam much like a spotlight on a theater stage.

The sooner /pol/ and the general public can accept this red pill, the sooner we can expose the World Governments subjugation of mankind and begin to overthrow the current establishment.

Think about it.. Have your ever seen evidence with your own eyes to continue believing in the dis-proven Spherical Earth theory?

>>
>>55293183
on a flat Earth any high powered antenna can cover the disc.
satellites were invented (by scifi writer C. Clarke) to fulfil a need specific to ball Earth. namely the rotundity of Earth.
So for any triangulation to work anywhere on Earth, all you need are three high powered antennas
>>

Round 2

If the earth has a diameter of 25k miles and a day of 24 hours, it would be spinning in excess of 1000 miles an hour.

How come when you fire a cannon vertically the cannon ball doesnt fall west (time spent in air)*1000mph?
>>
>>55292070
The earth is definitely flat.

I dare anyone to stand on a ball and post the results. 99.9% of the time you will end up falling. So how do you expect me to believe I am on a giant sphere, when I stand perfectly?

What in the fuck? I use GPS in aircraft daily in the southern hemisphere - want to re-articulate that question?

>>55293382
>All you need are three high powered antennas
How big is this fictional flat earth? How many km is the diameter? Even if we just assume it's say, half the circumference of the actual planet - 20,000km - that would mean an antenna would need to be 25km tall to have coverage of the whole earth - posing both a hazard to those aircraft flying near them and creating a somewhat difficult engineering challenge.

The map shown has Africa in the middle and the poles on each end. OP's fantasy earthen disc has the north pole in the middle and antarctica as the entire rim. OP is still a cock-gobbling nigger faggot, but xir point stands in that scenario. A much more solid proof is the curvature of the earth giving the illusion that a boat sinks under the horizon, such that at a given distance near the horizon, you see the whole ass-end of the ship, while further away, at/past the horizon, only the sails are visible. On a flat earth of sufficient size that the ship becomes too small to see, the whole ship would be visible until the moment it's indistinguishable.

There is no curvature. The earth is a plane not a globe. Water always fi ds a level surface and never buldges.

GPS is landbased and uses triangulation. Mobile phone tracking is an example. Look it up.

Pilots never adjust for curvature.

Coriolis effect and wind offers contradict the atmosphere spinning with the earth.

Sun rays through clouds proove the sun is closer that 96 million miles.

NASA doesn't account for a rotating earth or moving atmosphere in their aerodynamic equations of aircraft.

There are several more signs of distortion, but I'll leave top pic alone. For the others, the cameraman is shifting view directly left to directly right. They could go in a complete circle like that and the horizon would be flat, but the earth it describes would have a radius of about 6-18 miles. A flat earth, again, would allow for one with a powerful enough pair of binoculars to see until antarctica, no matter what direction they looked in, unless something like a building or a mountain got in the way. Why is it, no matter how strong a telescope we aim at the horizon, we can't see more than a few miles out into the open ocean? is it possible that the ocean is higher than the continent on the other side? On a round earth, that's exactly what it is, the line drawn from the telescope to the other side of the ocean goes through quite a bit of ocean, and the ~6 feet of height at which the telescope is aimed to see the horizon will put the telescopic line into the ocean a few miles out, going out to space on the other side. The telescope holder would have to aim the the telescope further down to even get a telescopic line to the next continent over.
>>
>>55292070
Let's see, the numerous high altitude flights that have been done.

The pictures of the earth from space and satellites.

Also and here's the best:
Time zones

The only way your spotlight theory could work would be if there was some device funneling the light into a long slit. Even then there is no map that you can produce that would account for dawn, day, night, and dusk as we see them on earth.

Finally there's the fact that I am a member of the flat earth society.

The flat earth society is a parody organization that doesn't actually believe the world is flat. Instead it takes all the arguments people make for well known conspiracies: Faked moon landing, 9/11 was an inside job, etc, and it uses the exact same reasoning to explain why the earth is flat. Showing just how ridiculous the conspiracies are.

When you fly a plane, pilots treat the world like it's flat because they know that. If that was not the case, maintaining a level angle of flight would mean you fly off into space after a certain distance due to the curvature of the earth.

If the sun was moving across the galaxy, why is it difficult to measure the parallax of the stars? we should have a different constellation over the course of 1000 years yet celestial navigation is a thing for sailors since then.

"Being very difficult to measure, only about 60 stellar parallaxes had been obtained by the end of the 19th century, mostly by use of the filar micrometer. Astrographs using astronomical photographic plates sped the process in the early 20th century. Automated plate-measuring machines[7] and more sophisticated computer technology of the 1960s allowed more efficient compilation of star catalogues. In the 1980s, charge-coupled devices (CCDs) replaced photographic plates and reduced optical uncertainties to one milliarcsecond.

Stellar parallax remains the standard for calibrating other measurement methods (see Cosmic distance ladder). Accurate calculations of distance based on stellar parallax require a measurement of the distance from Earth to the Sun, now based on radar reflection off the surfaces of planets.[8]

The angles involved in these calculations are very small and thus difficult to measure. The nearest star to the Sun (and thus the star with the largest parallax), Proxima Centauri, has a parallax of 0.7687 ± 0.0003 arcsec."

The one (more specifically "one") used for navication, the north star, is stationary by its very nature.
Want to know why it's stationary?...
It's nearly perfectly lined up with our north pole and at the same place regardless of time of day, month and even year.

Meanwhile, the constellations which astrology are based on have shifted tot he point where they are entirely wrong.

When they build bridges, which are much smaller they do need to calculate with the Earth's roundness.

In a case of a railroad it doesn't even matter

Just when you think they can't get any more retarded.

First, different lenses.
The camera on DSCOVR is designed specifically to capture a picture of earth's surface. That means earth is the main focus of the picture (hence why it takes up nearly the entire frame.)
Point B, the pictures were taken from Lagrange 1. The moon orbits at about 400,000 miles from earth while Lagrange 1 is about 1 million miles away. The moon is approximately 1/th the mass of the earth. Do the match yourself and that's the size it'll be.
Element gamma, that's not the fucking moon landing site (any of them,
The dark side of the moon is more pock marked than a teen-aged bacon lover. This is due tot he fact that it is tidally locked with earth (google it since I assume you don't know what it means) and the far side took the majoirty of impacts during earth's genisis. When the moon landing were in the absolute infancy of planning one of the first steps they took was to say "fuck the dark side. we can't land shit on that fucked up surface"

Exhibit cuatro, you're fucking retarded.
You're fucking retarded.

The point being this:

Airplanes can fly using models designed for a flat stationary earth.

With the speed the move and distances they cover you would think theyd have to maintain a constant downward steer to avoid flying off into space via slopes.

Even the ancients knew the earth was round. There's an easy experiment to prove this. Carl Sagan explains it in the very first episode of Cosmos talking about Eraatosthenes.

You can figure this out with 2 sticks, the Australian equivalent of a graphing calculator.
>>
>>55294652
why would they put that there or waste their time in the first place if they knew the earth is round?

did you not read that it makes no reference in trajectory? that means it can work anywhere at anytime. no curvature is put into question. reminder that commercial flights fly at half the speed of the rotation of the earth and would have to deal with curvature, moving atmosphere, and other round earth nonsense.
>>
>>55296123
You can't just "fly into space" m8. Gravity still works in the air, and air itself is affected by gravity. A "straight line" in air itself is curved because of this.
