Guys you've got to read this shit..

>"‘Our policy of arming the opposition to Assad was unsuccessful and actually having a negative impact,’ the former JCS adviser said. ‘The Joint Chiefs believed that Assad should not be replaced by fundamentalists. The administration’s policy was contradictory. They wanted Assad to go but the opposition was dominated by extremists. So who was going to replace him? To say Assad’s got to go is fine, but if you follow that through – therefore anyone is better. It’s the “anybody else is better” issue that the JCS had with Obama’s policy.’ The Joint Chiefs felt that a direct challenge to Obama’s policy would have ‘had a zero chance of success’. So in the autumn of 2013 they decided to take steps against the extremists without going through political channels, by providing US intelligence to the militaries of other nations, on the understanding that it would be passed on to the Syrian army and used against the common enemy, Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic State."

What you think abou that view?
>US Secretary of State John Kerry was in Moscow this week bearing what can only be described as a bribe to Russia. The unspoken essence of Washington’s arm twisting towards Moscow is this: give us Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad’s head on a platter – and we’ll call off the dogs of war in Ukraine. The latter part of the deal also comes with the added “sweetener» that the US and its European allies would lift economic sanctions off Russia.

His only source is one anon dude and we should trust him cuz he said so?
>Hersh alleges that the mastermind of this entire conspiracy was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Martin Dempsey, whom Hersh says was horrified by Obama's plan to arm Syrian rebels and sought to aid Assad. This claim is difficult to believe: While in office, Dempsey famously and publicly clashed with Obama over Syria because Dempsey wanted to do more to arm Syrian rebels. Contemporaneous accounts of arguments within the White House support this, with Dempsey arguing the US should more robustly arm Syrian rebels, and Obama arguing for less.

Anon, can you tell the difference between an ally and a pawn? Yeah, maybe Russia isn't really high on abandoning allies, but the only ally Russia has is... China maybe? Everyone else are just pawns in Putin's games.

Assad is still a useful pawn, so Putin keeps him in power, until he can extort every bit of usefulness form that guy and his country. Then, Assad will be discarded like those Ukrainian rebels.

The JCS concluded that if those needs were met, the overall fight against Islamist terrorism would be enhanced. Obama didn’t know, but Obama doesn’t know what the JCS does in every circumstance and that’s true of all presidents.’

Once the flow of US intelligence began, Germany, Israel and Russia started passing on information about the whereabouts and intent of radical jihadist groups to the Syrian army; in return, Syria provided information about its own capabilities and intentions. There was no direct contact between the US and the Syrian military; instead, the adviser said, ‘we provided the information – including long-range analyses on Syria’s future put together by contractors or one of our war colleges – and these countries could do with it what they chose, including sharing it with Assad. We were saying to the Germans and the others: “Here’s some information that’s pretty interesting and our interest is mutual.” End of conversation. The JCS could conclude that something beneficial would arise from it – but it was a military to military thing, and not some sort of a sinister Joint Chiefs’ plot to go around Obama and support Assad. It was a lot cleverer than that. If Assad remains in power, it will not be because we did it. It’s because he was smart enough to use the intelligence and sound tactical advice we provided to others.’

The public history of relations between the US and Syria over the past few decades has been one of enmity. Assad condemned the 9/11 attacks, but opposed the Iraq War. George W. Bush repeatedly linked Syria to the three members of his ‘axis of evil’ – Iraq, Iran and North Korea – throughout his presidency. State Department cables made public by WikiLeaks show that the Bush administration tried to destabilise Syria and that these efforts continued into the Obama years.

> You really need to explain how this is going to benefit Russia in the long term. I don't see how it will. They might recover from this mess, but 'benefit'?

One of the Russian problem is the weight of the oil products in the economy. The answer is not limited to a single domain, but for instance with EU counter-sanctions, they have stimulated another part of their economy which lacked some serious investments: food and agro.
> Saudi Arabia's main goal was actually stop shale gas oil production in the US.

completely wrong, especially because USA is a net consumer of oil product (still produces less than they consumes), and exporting oil was not allowed (until very recently).

What Saudi wanted was to keep their market share in the emerging countries, especially China. They counted on a decrease of oil production by Russia (pic related) and even offered to Chinese authorities massive discounts to try to gain those market shares. But it's clear they failed at it, because China doesn't consider changing of alliance.

Shale gaz hit by low oil price is just there a side effect, on a

The naval base, even unmanned (actually I think it's pretty well staffed, but no sources for any claim) works as a strategic and tactic port in the mediterraneum, it's a direct counter to some NATO control on it so they can't afford to lose it, even unmanned they can send people there anytime because they own it.

>Use music from Roland the headless tompson gunner.

Roland was a Kitty from the Land of the Red borscht
With a dark fur groomed, eating to be done
The deal was made in Airport on a dark and stormy day
So he set out for novorussia to join the bloody fray

Through Thirteen and fourteen they fought the Ukraine wars
With their fingers on their triggers, knee-deep in gore
For days and nights they battled the Holhols to their knees
They killed to earn their living and to Make food for the kitty

Roland the holhol eater...

His comrades fought beside him - Van bin Owen and the rest
But of all the Kitties, Roland was the best
So the CIA decided they wanted the war stopped
That son-of-a-bitch Van bin Owen blew transmissions lines over

Roland the holhol eater...
Roland the holhol eater...
Ukraine best fed cat
Time, time, time
For another peaceful war
But time stands still for Roland
'Til he evens up the score
They can still see his furry body stalking through the night
In the Glowing eyes of Roland's the holhol eater
In the muzzle flash of Every grad rocket

Roland searched the continent for the man who'd done the power in.
He found him in Ramadi in a whorehouse with a grin
Roland aimed his eyes - he didn't say a word
But he blew up Van bin Owen's body from there to Grozny

Roland the holhol eater...
Roland the holhol eater...
Ukraine best fed cat
still wandering through the night
Now it's two years later but he still keeps up the eating
In Yemen, in Lebanon, in Palestine and San san bernardino
Jihadist John heard the purr of Roland the Holhol eater and bought it

In the Russian trade deficit, it's related a lot to Tourism. Turkey and Egypt are 2 importants destinations for Russian holidays (that also explain France, Cyprus and Thailand trade deficit).

If you consider a sharp decline of Russian tourism in Egypt (with the fear of terrorism), and in Turkey for political reason, it's roughly an amount of 7.5 billions $, which 50 to 75% may return into Russian economy (Crimea next year will be a top tourism for Russia, everything is already rented).

So you can expect out of it some dev. of the Russian tourism industry, with an effect on GDP that we can estimate to +0,6 0,8%.

That's how Russia economy may benefit after all from the sanctions and their counter sanctions.

> give us Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad’s head on a platter – and we’ll call off the dogs of war in Ukraine.

Not sure USA even dare to ask for it. It's obvious Russia perfectly know that even USA doesn't have a real control over Ukraine, nevertheless the country is now 100% dependent on USA/EU. Not convinced ? See the video when Saakachvili receive a glass of water from Avakov. This was a warning to USA: "you are not in our country to rule it but to let us do what we want, and in exchange we bully Russia".

> with the added “sweetener» that the US and its European allies would lift economic sanctions off Russia.

Russia don't want the sanctions to be lifted, because it serves them well both politically and economically, in the long run.
They have repeatedly stated that they are not interested in discussion to lift or soften the sanctions: "If you've managed to impose those illegal sanctions, you'll find a way to lift them without asking us".

Probably, if we all refuse to be baited, we can have a convo - turkey is in the midst of some serious shit, shooting where a normal state has peace, war on it's borders, and a crazy man at the helm. This does not mean all Turks are like crazy pretty girl killing cops. We are undermining ourselves by this shit. I guess the place might seem nice to a guy from rural Kazakhstan.

>i ve met several kazakhs and they seem to like turkey, at least this is what they say. they also claim most kazakhs also like turkey etc.

Of course most Kazakhs don't hate t*rks. Why would they? But get us in /sg/ and see what happens. Also, we like Russians more.

Well, just some border cossack tribes, they bit related to golden horde.
Majority of ukraineans are not related to them, just russians in denial.
Dont tell i said that to any ukraineans tho, they take turk/mongol as a huge insult.
We sometimes mock them like that kek.
And crimean tatars are whole another story, they are turks in denial. But after what Katherine did, Stalin did and Hitler did, they are almost gone.

Actually we write in both.
We are taught both cyrillic and latin alphabets in school for our language.

Even the exercises are split usually, some in latin, some in cyrillic.

Teachers write in whatever they want usually.

Both scripts were officially used by the state until 2006/2007 when they changed it to cyrillic only.

I doubt much has changed though or that they stopped teaching latin script.

They were taught cyrillic in croatia as well until the war, and even today there are cyrillic boards and documentation and shit in areas were serbs are the majority or used to be a majority.

They only pretend they can't read it.

We. Don't. Have. Allies.
We may have pawns and temporary alliances like in the world wars, but any decent Russian leader (most of them) since like forever trusted no one. "Russia has only two allies - the army and the navy".

dude this is an impossible dream for even the most childish and autist person. do you really actually believe usa is getting married with russia just because putin and trump sucked each others cock in a couple of occasions.

lately i really started to think presidents for usa doesnt even matter at all. there is an agenda of the usa, determined maybe idk 60 years ago? and they are still applying it to the world.

>>58995295
this american gets it. would russia really help out usa if it needed even if trump and putin start a stupid circlejerk? no never, russia will do whatever it can to stop the usa in every single occasion. politics is a lie, no one ever tells truth, there are no enemies, no friends, only conflicting interests.

tbqh, if you've seen the memory chips of the black box, you understand it's going to be very hard to take something out of it.

Just saw a snapshot of one side of the circuit board, but on the 8 memory chips, 5 are completely destroyed and the 3 other seems to be also bended / broken. To strip something out of this, you need an electron microscope. Not something you can do in the weekend.

I don't think what's left of the blackbox is exploitable. Even, with such damage, anyone could say the integrity of the extracted data can't be guaranteed.

So I think this is a dead end: parole against parole.

I don't know if you have been included in the list above properly. If you feel you have been included wrongly, please accept my apology.

We run the risk of making the mistake that we are dealing with our worst feared entity when we see flags. I'm not saying flags is bad, because flags is good.

But, and I speak under correction, that Turkey as a nation has decided that it's citizens may not use or go to 4CHINS.

What does this mean?

It means, literally (proper use of the word), that every Turk who posts here, has 1) changed his DNS, 2) broken some stupid law in his country that says 4CHINS is ebilbad, 3)that most Turks who post are progs in their communities.

They potentially, and I have no idea how bad the threat is, face some kinf of legal intercourse as a result of being on 4CHINS.

Please ignore the trolls, esp if all they can manage is a picture of a burning plane or some other such.

I hope the queen of ingland and the pope and the ayatollah recognise me as a saint for my efforts. and dmmit if they don't then I'm gonna start my own religion and make them! kek.

I don't know Tamerlan defeated way more organized and effective armies.

Genghis Khan wasn't faced with such strong enemies, organized and effective armies to be honest.

Also I'm a bit biased since he liked us.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Ankara

> Serbian Prince Stefan Lazarević and his knights together with Wallachian forces successfully fought off the Timurid assaults and cut through the Mongol ranks three times. Each time Stefan advised Bayezid to break out with him but Bayezid repeatedly declined to do so, resulting in the proud and stubborn sultan being captured after a lengthy resistance. But the Serbians managed to save one of Bayezid's sons and the treasury from the Mongols and made their way to Constantinople. The Serbian troops wore heavy black plate armour which were very effective against the Timurid arrows. Timur admired the Serbian troops who according to him "fight like lions".

yeah i am. i really thought this place was actually politically incorrect and i wanted to learn more. instead the onlything i saw was anti-"anti-extreme right wing". people dont get in every single ideology and idea has a use. even learning what "not to do" is a valuable thing. but this kind of attitude really makes me think this place is stupid.

i remember i wasnt this nationalistic before i got to this place. but i didnt become nationalistic after i started to read shit over here because i believed my nation was above all. i became nationalistic because you people constantly remind me that i am a turk etc etc. so i started to think, "fuck them, there is nothing wrong about being a turk".

nothing really happens because you get onto a site even if it is illegal in turkey really. i live in a university which uses TUBİTAK, the national science academy whatever as its ISP and its a government establishment, meaning it is directly tied to erdogan. and even TUBİTAK doesnt care about internet bans and doesnt apply twitter / youtube / 4chin ban or whatnot. only some couple of pr0n sites are not accessible.

russia also supported terrorism in turkey a lot in the past. its not about "all the cool kids do it". its about conflicting interests and that there is no moral high ground in the "world of nations".

to be quite honest, if it means the well being of and if it increases the overall welfare of turkey, whole world can burn, i wouldnt care less.
