TRUMP 2016.

>>57247671

Ok pol. Tell me why the minimum wage shouldnt be increased. I have a friend who is working at target, dropped out of college. he does 34 hour shifts. basically at work all day, he gets paid shit and doesnt have enough money for health insurance. he got this weird rash on his shoulder that is getting worse everyday but he cant go to the doctor because it'll cost him a good penny. if it wasnt for his dad he'd be living in the streets. the min wage just isnt viable for him. anyone who is working 40 hours a week should theoratically be able to afford a living. people who work for far less get way more.
>>
>>57247864
Because not all markets are the same due to living cost. Minimum wage is designed to be the bottom of bottom meaning employers can't try to go below it. It was never meant to be some sort of living cost and the demand those faggots are asking are way beyond what their shit work is worth. The highest value of minium wage has never crossed the ten dollar mark in our times money and that only lasted for a couple of years.

TLDR, Micro economics and history
>>
>>57248034
Oh holy shit you stupid fuck. The man himself, Franklin D. Roosevelt said that yes, in fact, it was meant to be a livable wage. Did you think that no one would call you out on that?
>>
>>57247864

Raising the minimum wage means that every worker is expected to provide MORE THAN (for profit sake) 15$ an hour of work.

Now, the average nig at mcdonalds ain't going to do that at all. So shitty workers will be culled to save money, mainly minorities, thus making the government fuck with the affirmative action laws again.

Secondly, workers are worth more if there's less of them around and vice versa. Immigration, whether legal or illegal, devalues the worth of a worker via supply/demand. This means that a company will gladly fire all its hipster white kids for Mexicans if they can pay the Mexicans less. If you controlled immigration and thus made the "low tier" job workers much more scarce, they'll start hiring the highschool kids again at low pay and the adults at a decent rate.

Lastly, the standard inflation cycle
>my shitty decisions in life means i cant afford my house with my shitty job. PAY ME MORE
>workers get more money
>Companies raise prices to balance the pay change.
>workers can't pay for stuff again
>demand more money
>This entire time the actual value of the work stays the same but the numbers written on the money changes.
>>
>>57247864
>Two people agree on what is a fair wage for a specific job
>Liberals want to force one of the people to add more to the deal even though it's already been made
>>
>>57248034

If it was never meant to be a living cost then why the arbitrary cut off point. make it 4 dollars an hour.

employers are going to try and get away with the lowest they could pay their employees and make them work however much they want. you should economically be in a place where that cut off point is actually a viable living wage.

Do you realize how fucking condescending you sound when you say stuff like "their shit work"?. Work is work. If you are doing 40 hours of physical labor, health insurance and a roof over your head should come with that.
>>
>>57248308
>Work is work

No. That's communism.

40 hours physical labor coal mining is different than 40 hours physical labor as a cashier at McDonald and should be recognized as such.

people have to work the shitty jobs yes, but they are still shitty jobs
>>
>>57248232
>Raising the minimum wage means that every worker is expected to provide MORE THAN (for profit sake) 15$ an hour of work.

There are already people working way more than what their min wage is worth.

>inflation cycle

More money for workers means more money spent you asshat. The min wage increase hardly effects the prices on goods. It's almost unnoticable for the average customer.
>>
>implying the image doesn't apply to trump also

>trump how will you pay for your hawk military policies?
>WE WILL MAKE THIS COUNTRY SO GREAT WE WILL BRING BACK SO MANY JOBS
>WE HAVE TERRIBLE NEGOTIATORS WERE GETTING RIPPED OFF BY CHINA AND MEXICO
>I WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN THANK YOU

Don't even pretend like this guy has a fucking clue.

Minimum wage where I live (Texas) is currently $7.25 per hour.
Thats about $1,100 a month if you work full time. Possible to live on, but not comfortably, which gives people an incentive to get better jobs. When I worked at McShits, thats what I made the first six months (it went up a quarter p/hr every 6 months), and my managers made $10 an hour (same 25 cents per 6 month deal). My managers were able to live relatively comfortably on those wages, since the cost of living here is so low.
If you raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, then those managers, who were once paid a higher amount to represent the work they put into their job and ability to climb the shitjob ladder, are now making the same wage as the 16 year old who just started last week.
The $20 an hour employee at Kek&Fuck Inc. who went to college to get that premium wage, is now only making $5 more than the mentally disabled janitor that sprinkles cat litter on the carpet to "clean it".
Employers will not give _everyone_ that works for them a $7.75 per hour wage increase to make up for this. If you made $8 p/hr, you're now minimum wage. If you made $10 p/hr, you're now minimum wage. If you made $14 p/hr, you're now minimum wage. Jobs that were once paid well, are now minimum wage. Jobs that were once very high salary, are only barely above minimum wage. As an employer, not only are you losing more money to those bottom of the rung people, but you're losing money to those middle rung people as well.

And to fix this increase in wages, employers will raise the cost of their goods and services, thus making your wage increase useless, because even though you now make more money, you also spend more money. This phenomenon is more commonly known as "inflation".
>TLDR; say goodbye to the dollar menu
>>
>>57248384

Yes it is. Both gets paid min wage. The problem isnt who gets paid more or less. The problem is the minimum amount you are getting paid is hardly proportional to the work you are putting in.
>>
>>57248190

>what is an opinion

FDR also said all Japs should be rounded into camps. You didn't think I'd point that out, did you?!?!?

Also, the world economy is entirely different 70 years after the fact. Perhaps if jobs existed in the US that had existed during FDR's term, this comparison would be sensible. You can thank NAFTA for moving all of our factory work overseas though. :^)
>>
For the last fucking time minimum wage was NEVER intended to be a living wage. Why can't lazy niggers and faggots get this through their thick lazy worthless skulls? You're not supposed to start a family or be fucking around while working a Mcjob. These jobs are intended for teenagers just entering the workforce, with no experience, so they can get a foot in the door and start climbing up.

It's a fucking minimum wage job. It's the lowest of the low, you cannot go any lower. It's meant for the unexperienced kids entering the workforce. We just have a country full of lazy niggers with no ambition who somehow pop out 8 babies while flipping burgers than they demand they need to be paid more to keep livin the dream homie.

Fuck everyone who likes Bernie and his commie shit tier policies. They will not work, employers will just cull the bottom line then, it does not work.
>>
Bernies politics have been tried for 70 years in Northern Europe.

Bernie knows economics and history quite well.

The same could not be said about Trump.
Trump isn't a cück though.
>>
>>57248615
You realize that most people working minimum wage are adult parents, right? And that minimum wage jobs in America also include fields such as engineering?
>>
>>57248470
But those McD and WalMart workers are getting food stamps and other forms of gov't assistance. They're taking taxpayer money to subsidize that fucking dollar menu. If it's a fucking parasite company with shit products and no money to pay people, let's just let it die.
>>
Raising minimum wage only brings in inflation.

I do think mcfucks should be able to do more than live a slave life off of full time work, but raising the wages only bandaids it until prices go up from the wages going up.

You have to make the mcfucks worth more value by making the massive beaner invasion stop.

If you want those mcfucks to be worth more then the balance between mcfuck jobs and mcfucks needs to be more jobs less people.

As it stands right now mcfuck jobs can fire over a hundred people a year for each position and still have mcfucks coming in droves to fill those positions.

The mcfucks have no position of power to tell the mcfuck job that they should be paid more compared to other mcfuck jobs.

tl;dr
You either get more businesses and get rid of illegal aliens and importing shit, or you go communist and have the government pay to keep the niggers on life support.
>>
>>57248567
FDR's opinions on Japs has nothing to do with a decent wage so I don't know what that has to do with anything. You're claiming min. wage was never meant to be livable and telling people to learn history. Apparently you don't know that FDR implemented min. wage in this country so his opinion is really fucking important, also it's the history you seem to be fond of claiming you know shit about.

Which European country has a population of 330,000,000? Which European countries with 330 million people are as fat and generally unhealthy as the US?

There will be more people lining up for government welfare in the US than the entire population of the UK or Denmark under a socialist system. (Just look at the percentage of population of the UK receiving medical care from the NHS and apply that percentage to the US.)

If minimum wage increases, how many millions of people will have their wage increased? This will fuck everyone long term due to what >>57248470 said.

Bernie is just saying what your average American retard wants to hear to Jew the people out of their vote.
>>
>>57248627
Yeah and now you are starting to eat shit because people are starting to realize they can get money for free, also, I don't want to give away 30%+ of my money to some poor faggot like you.

>But those McD and WalMart workers are getting food stamps and other forms of gov't assistance
Well, personally around here its mostly all either highschool students and old people with nothing better to do that have walmart and McJob cashier positions, with mexicans working all the shit that isn't seen by the customers, and isn't a management position.

We tend to understand the concept of them being temporary jobs, and the Mexicans are all illegal and can't (or don't know how to) get foodstamps anyways. You work at a Marky Whalburgs because you need condom money, not because you've got five kids to feed.
>>
>>57248836

FDR's opinion on the purpose of minimum wage is irrelevant in today's economic and political climate. Things are totally different. In fact, FDR's opinion on minimum wage is just as irrelevant, outdated, and unnecessary as his opinion on Japs. See what I did there?

While we're at it, can you think of anything else someone came up with in 1940 that's no longer applicable in the modern world?
>>
>>57248836
FDR thought that destroying food would help our economy during the dustbowl. That alone proves he was the biggest faggot to ever win an election. Unfortunately for you, the list of retarded decisions he made is longer than Jamal's criminal record.

If Bernie actually managed to fuck big-banks in the ass I would vote for him, all social and economic repercussions aside I would vote for anybody that would flip the current system over on its head.

It's vitally important that we reclaim control of our countries wealth from the jews, and I'll vote for anybody who would do that regardless of their other policies.

Given Bernies inability to grow a pair and tendency to get keked by negros though I doubt he stands a chance against lobbyists.

What many people forget is that the tax brackets are not going to be adjusted for an increase in minimum wage.

Suddenly, all those full-time minimum wage workers bump up income brackets and don't qualify for social benefits.

Good thing they finally get to pay their fair share of taxes though, right?

Bernie is a genius.
>>
>>57248677
They must be some shitty parents then
>>
>>57248190
This was before fast food industry was a thing, and before a ridiculous number of jobs were incredibly simplified by computers.
A minimum wage job in the 2010s is MUCH easier than a minimum wage job in the late 30s or 40s.
>>
>>57248947
There would be literally nothing wrong with our system if our leaders weren't such traitors.
>>
Minimum wage is a living wage and should only be adjusted for inflation.

We shouldn't be encouraging people to take min wage jobs, Good mcworkers are given scholarship programs for management positions anyway. Only Wal-mart is total bullshit.

They are meant to be temporary jobs. The only fucked up thing is that they can quality for foodstamps. But the teenagers and shit don't get that so the impact isn't as bad as a flat minimum wage increase.

Minimum wage is already a living wage. The issue is that the dipshits who are trying to live off of minimum wage think that a "living wage" should afford you a new car, large apartment, new smart phone, new tablet, enough money to eat out frequently, enough money to go to the bars, etc. It's the ultimate case of poors being jealous of those who aren't poor. If these dipshits managed their money remotely well, they'd get by just fine. Unfortunately the new iPhone costs $200 up front and $80 per month and they're too fucking stupid to realize they don't need that shit.

I've never seen a person claiming to be poor with a cheaper phone than mine. That also extends to clothes and eating out/week.

I'm sure there are legitimate sob stories but if you take out people living above their means, people who still somehow manage to fund several addictions and those having children knowing they won't be able to afford them, your socialist platform suddenly shrinks to 0.1% so obviously that can't be your party program.

Is inflation really that hard of a concept for people to understand?
Because a lot of people don't seem to get it.
