I miss those kinds of statues. In my town they unveiled four statues erected on a roundabout to commemorate the miners who worked there in the past (it was a mining town). But to be honest they look like shit. The sentiment is there but they look subpar compared to statues like that in the image. The four statues look like they are made of reinforced concrete and were cast in some badly made mould. They look blocky and squared and brittle. Came home from work this morning to find one of the arms missing and crumbled on the ground. I knew that someone would vandalize them some day, and I'm not surprised that it was so soon after the unveiling. Just more evidence of decadence.

That way they can all try different models and systems, and the successful schools/states recieve funding, that way other states will be encourages to follow their model.
