How does World War usually begin? The first time it was an assassination. The second it was because of mass genocide. The cold war was because of the technology investors stroking their wittle penors. The vietnam war was because of communism. The afghan war was because of oil and self induced "terrorism".
What will cause WW3?
A lot of the probs in that region can be traced back to the fall of the USSR and Russia's defeat in Afghanistan. A lot of plutonium and warheads were left in unstable regions/nations after the collapse, all with hatred towards western presence in the region.
The former USSR and Russia have been fucking shit up for everyone for a while. I reckon it's only fitting if they cause WW3.

the Germans felt like they had been screwed over by the allies after WW1 when they had to hand over a lot of their land to poland and checkslovakia. When they invaded they felt justified as they were just taking what was theirs.
The Allies didn't realise how serious Hitler was and thought that appeasement would work so were caught unprepared when the Nazis called their bluff and invaded Poland.

Actually German goods were boycotted by a large amount of countries (the cheap and quality goods they made was also part of the reason for WWI triggering against them). The boycott in addition to the strict terms under the treaty of versailles and the Soviets becoming a threat was the major causes behind Hitler building up the military and going on the offense.

It was the french. We know that in ww1 none of the 3 kings wanted to go to war with each other. When ferdinand was killed austria was rightly pissed and germany gave them the all clear to get revenge. Then france came along and saw an excuse to fight germany and dragged everyone else in. After all that they laid the groundwork for ww2 in the Versailles treaty, completely ignoring the rest of the world screaming at them to not do it because it would only end one way. Lo and behold the reich came about from the ashes, and once it invaded poland, pierre decided once again to declare war on germany.
